ibcr8iv is exactly right. it's a video distribution block and amplifier in one. i have one of those (diff manufacturer) in my titan, it's powering 5 additional screens like a charm

i'm getting stuck at the part unmounting the SDMLC Disk. i'm getting an error message "cannot unmount store" also cannot format the store and cannot create a new partition. what to do?

i'm aware of everything you just said. but i've helped other members, and offered money all that just can't get no help. but i just knew someone would comment on that post. i'm aware not everyone has the ability or an f900. it's just frustrating to be this close and have to wait on the right person to see my post, another reason i have multiple posts. i apologize to you guys. but this literally could happen to anyone.

i need a copy of the.... f900 backup files copy of DISKRW desperately need these files to get my unit to work. i would greatly appreciate someone posting them shouldn't take more than 5 or 10 minutes and i'll paypal $$ to whoever hosts em and posts em. thanks.

this is easy. somebody with an f900 please bring up test mode, click DISKRW and copy ur SDMLC. it will fix my unit and take you maybe 5 minutes.

could someone with a f900 and an SD card do me huge favor? i need a copy of your SDMLC file. my unit has not worked for almost 3 weeks now and i have been ALL OVER this forum trying to fix it when just about everyone says it is bricked or nothing can be done it needs to go back to pioneer. well i'm happy to say that with persistance and help from other members on here i've almost got it fixed. the problem is starting to become more common so this isn't gonna help just me, it will be in thread i started with a solution at the end. not like a thread you read and ur like "oh shit that is wha

i have a US f900. i tried 3 times to write the SDMLC last nite and the final time letting it write for a whole hr. it gets stuck at reading the file, it never starts writing. so you may be write in that i need the f900 SDMLC. i don't know where i would acquire that or whom to ask. we need to grab that thing though and see if they are the same...

there may be a fix to this thanks to tail24. i'm working the bugs out right now and as soon as they're worked out i'll post up a link.

another thing.... i noticed we downloaded a file that wasn't used in this process. it's the "Disk1File" or Part 1 - Step 3a was this file unneccessary or just left out? lmk. AND THANKS FOR YOUR HELP SO FAR.... I KNOW I'M MORE THAN HALF WAY THERE!!

well this has worked well for me up until the part where it writes the .IMG file. i got it to write and all that (btw the button that you press once you select that file is "write") but it never finishes writing. there is just an hour glass that keeps turning over, over and over again. but the text in the box finished so i assumed it was done and just clicked "ok". then proceed on, navigated to myflashdrive, ect. and finished the steps. but i restarted and didn't work. tried another update, didn't work. still keeps getting stuff on the black screen. but.... before the unit would

THANK YOU FOR YOUR POST! i just found this 20 minutes ago, but def. appreciate the help. this look promising. yea i was just reading that thread. i found the code to enter and got fully into "service mode". i'm reading now about service mode to see if i can do my updates via the SD card. so far it will not let me because i don't have the files winceimage.bin and winceimage.cks loaded on my SD. i'm gonna locate those files and throw them on there and post my results. i feel like i'm making some headway.

i got 2 more questions and then i'm giving in and sending it to pioneer. 1. I got a blue screen to come up by pressing the menu + map buttons. it allows me to press buttons to attempt to put in a "code". is there something i can do with this "code" during the blue screen to get some funtions back??? I feel like if i get one function and can get others. but my unit is locked up, no updates, no test mode, no nothing. can anything be done at this blue screen? 2. i want to undo my parking brake bypass but it was done by a shop so i don't know what wire it is. pioneer is blaming eve
