  1. If you purchased the AppRadio 2 on or after Valentine's Day, you may want to take a look at this link. One Hundred and Twenty Big Ones
  2. A PAC TR7 relay can be programmed to bypass the PB.
  3. Just finalized my install, and all I can say is ARLiberator rocks! Worth every penny.
  4. I was using the reverse sense provided by my Metra 99-3010s install kit for my 2010 Camaro. It seems that the kit has a bug that throws +8 vdc randomly, so it would cause the back-up camera to pop on and off. So I disconnected the kit reverse and created a relay circuit off of the reverse light. Problem fixed.
  5. Check out the ARLiberator app. Root is required, however, it makes the radio work. You'll need an HDMI cable, and this Amazon link to HDMI Adapter. It has to be this one. You'll see these for half price and be tempted to purchase them, however, they are counterfiet, and will cause snow and audio disconnections. Also, before you order anything, go to the ARLiberator Forum, and see if this is the route you want to take. I highly suggest it myself, but then, who the hell am I? Good luck.
  6. Having installed head units before, I've never had this problem. When I plug the phone into the adapter, I get random reverse (back up) camera video. It's annoying. I was thinking of hooking up a relay to the reverse lights to throw a ground to the reverse sense and then changing it in the settings to eliminate the possibility of a spurrious voltage on the reverse sense. I have a 2010 Camaro, so I'm thinking it might be the Metra Kit causing it, but I can't be absolutely certain. If anyone has any insight on this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  7. I used something like this for my 700bt to stream music to. Don't know if it will work for you. Good Luck. http://www.amazon.com/CoolStream-Bluetooth-Receiver-Adapter-docking/dp/B008EL58YA/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1356301042&sr=1-1&keywords=ipod+dock+bluetooth+adapter
  8. I am having a similar problem, and am searching for the solution.
  9. Or an HD radio tuner...
  10. I just got a Blackberry Tour. People on the other end of the phone call when I'm using the Bluetooth on my F700BT tell me I sound like I'm far away in a cave. After endless searching on the crackberry forums, it seems that the Outgoing audio on the Bluetooth software is low. Here is my question. Is it possible to increase outgoing audio on the F700BT? Thank you, overlord masters, for not smiting me with your baseball bats of doom.
  11. Welcome! You're new top menu looks great!
  12. Thanks, Garret, I appreciate the kind words.
  13. Are the songs "Skipping" or does the sound go away, come back further in the song, like that? If it's what I just described, then I would pull the unit out, check all the speaker wiring at the harness, and also, check your speaker integrity, there might be a loose connection on one of them, causing a short or a ground, which would make the internal amp on the head unit to go into protect mode, and then come back when the short or ground goes away.
  14. I just installed the F700BT, and I am very happy. I have changed my Top Menu Icons, and I've been in the wince a few times, and so far so good. Just wanted to thank everyone for all of their input and all of their patience and hard work. Yes, there is a LOT of bullshit to wade through, but finding those golden gems make it all worth while. So, check out my first attempts...
