I had the same issue. Luckily I had purchased the upgrade to 3.0 prior to the issue starting. I stuck in the sd card turned on the car and the unit automatically booted from the sd card and loaded the os from there. If you have the 3.0 upgrade on sd card I would recommend doing this. It saved my unit.
