  1. Ignore this ungrateful bum. Keep up the good work. I've been using your mods for my X910BT. Much appreciated.
  2. Perhaps not relevant, but I use the mic for GM onstar and it works perfectly.
  3. 09 Silverado: HU, XM, and camera working, but no onstar, chimes. For those familiar with the GMOS non-amplified install, when I attach the yellow wire from the GMOS 12 slot connector to constant 12v source per instructions, the HU turns on. This can't be correct - or the HU would be on all the time, until the battery dies of course. Bad GMOS or ???
  4. I realize use of the mute wire for grounding pin2/slot 4 of the harness is simply a convenience - proper connector. A question I've seen asked, but not answered - will relocation of the mute wire effect use of onstar muting via the GMOS-LAN-01 adapter?
  5. Newbie here, if there's a better place to post this pls advise. I have an 09 Silverado with a std am/fm/cd radio option. One (of many) issues with replacing this radio with a factory nav radio is an external amplifier is required. My question: with these pioneer nav systems, is the amplifier contained within the head unit or is an external amp also required? TIA.
