  1. The reason I'm asking, is some users have reported having to cross wires in order for things to work properly. I believe it's the yellow and the red.
  2. I think we've found the one instance where a Mac doesn't excel
  3. Hi guys, I'm having an issue with my X910BT, which from my understanding is an updated F900. I have an '06 Passat, with the PAC interface. Everything works, except sound If I crank the volume to max, I get a faint sound. Even if I hook up a speaker directly to the head unit's RCA output.
  4. So I got a new unit, same issue. Anyone have any ideas?
  5. I used the PAC harness. I shipped the unit back for a new one, let's see if the issue is fixed. I tried plugging in a speaker directly to the rca outputs from the head unit and had the same sound issue.
  6. You're right I don't think I was clear. If using an HD unit, the antenna must be connected to it. In order to use MSN DIrect, an antenna must also be connected to the Head Unit, therefore the need for the splitter.
  7. I have an X, but read that you need the splitter for MSN Direct.
  8. So I took a multimeter to my radio yesterday, there doesn't seem to be any resistance being output. Could the issue be the unit itself?
  9. Has anyone else noticed the unit is a little slow after the update? The response is delayed. Is there a way to fix this? Or go back to 3.0?
  10. I think I found out why. I cut out the RCA plugs to splice the cables. I think I should've just gotten RCA adapters. Does anyone know the model for the speaker harness?
  11. Unload that S&W and relax...It's just a wire, not the Apocalypse. I had the 5-minute reboot issue. At the time I had the "MUTE" and brake wires grounded. When I called Pioneer support, the tech told me (while laughing) that for my brake bypass to work, the brake wire needs +12v.

    new firmware

I had the same issue and used a Mac. Did the testmode stuff and revived it. Called Pioneer support and they stated they had never heard of the Mac issue but would let their techs know.
  13. for my x910bt, I just clipped the parking wire to the ACC wire. When I called Pioneer support they told me it needed +12v
