  1. Pioneer's website does a pretty good job of listing the differences.
  2. Did you go into the Bluetooth settings and select update firmware? I haven't had a chance to install my upgrade but recall reading that you need to go into the bluetooth menu to complete that part of the upgrade.
  3. I ordered mine from the place I got my 110 from. I'm going to get it at his cost, which we think will be around 150. I'm hoping to have it sometime this week too. As for the price, $200 for new maps and GUI? I think it's easily worth it. You don't want the maps? Fine, you're payin 200 for an update instead of 1000+ on a new HU. Don't want the GUI? Fine, you're payin 200 for a map update as normal with a free new interface. In the end, no one is forcing you to buy anything, you don't like the price, don't buy it. Seems pretty simple.
  4. Last I read in one of the threads is that the MAP update is the one that will bring the Z110 OS up to that of the Z120. As mentioned, this firmware update only addresses a parking brake error.
  5. Page 85 "How To Start-Up Test Mode" 1. Enter the following password while +B, ACC are ON (Normal application start-up status). 2. When the password is correct, restart begins and test mode menu is displayed. 1. Press [HOME] key. 2. Press keys in the order, -> -> -> -> -> , while pressing [HOME] key. 3. Release [HOME] key.
  6. Thanks for all the quick replies and suggestions. For anyone that has a factory mygig radio, on the white 22 pin connector, pin3 (green with orange stripe) is you video signal (+) and the pin5 (blue with white stripe) is the shield (-)
  7. I have a factory reverse camera that I want to use with the z110. I have identified the wires, there are only 3 wires, signal, return, and shield. I'd assume that I can connect signal to the pin on an RCA and the shield wire to the ground of an RCA. Does anyone know what the return is? Also, the screen on the z110 isnt switching when i put it in reverse. There was a wire in the adapter harness that said to connect it to the HU's rear camera wire, which I did. Any input is appreciated. The details of my system: 09 Jeep Grand Cherokee avic-z110bt pac C2R-CHY4 pac SWI-PS pac SWI-CAN2
  8. Did you just replace the headunit? You might be able to remove it without reinstalling the OEM headunit. You can also just disconnect the bluetooth module.
  9. If your mac doesnt come with it, order the OS upgrade CD to Snow Leopard from 19 bucks. It speeds things up a bit and it also frees up some hard drive space.
  10. Congrats on the Mac as well. Take a look at VMWare Fusion for running Windows on the Mac.
