  1. i just picked up an 05 Audi A6 and im not impressed with the factory radio. the factory bluetooth sucks, theres a screen but no nav, it comes with xm, and i have my account with sirius, and most important, there no ipod hookup, not even an aux input. so im on a mission to install my Z110BT, unfortunately the way my car is set up they make it next to impossible to install any kind of radio. That being said ive come up with a few different ideas on how im gonna install my nav. im gonna replace the factory screen with my z110. the problem ive run into is that there is no depth behind the factory
  2. looks like # 13 will be your brake wire. the other two should be your speaker leads.
  3. good im happy to hear it worked out for you. hope you enjoy your navi, i played with it a little bit and was a little jealous my Z120 doesnt have the AHA radio feature. cant wait until they release the update for the Z120
  4. sounds like you might need some type of three way crossover. that should do the job just fine. you could try to wire them up in series but you are probably gonna lose alot of volume doin it that way.
  5. if you read what i had posted right before your post, and follow what i do by adding another wire to that empty pin location, then you dont have to worry about removing the yellow black mute wire and you could still utilize that mute wire for what it was really intended to be used for. and yes you add a wire in the empty pin location above or below the mute wire(depending on how you look at the harness) I have installed 3 x930bt's so far and have not had an issue, and i personally test drove it myself just to confirm it. as far as the pink VSS wire. it makes no difference if you hook it up or n
  6. you have to take the plug apart by popping out the clip in the middle of the plug then you should be able to remove it. i do it a different way. what i do is i will take a small gauge wire strip it back and push the wire as far as it will go into the empty slot. i then take a wire tie and tie it to a few of the other wires so it wont pull out. a little ghetto but it works like a charm everytime. hope this helps.
  7. Thank you for reconfirming what i originally had posted. 1 pin down. initially it will work if you move the wire one pin over. until you take it for a little ride it will then lock out your video and give you the parking brake error message.
  8. yes move the yellow black one pin straight down from where it was.
  9. yeah it worked just fine.what i did forget to post is that as always you must ground the green brake wire as well.
  10. hasnt pioneer heard that Android just blew past Iphone in phone sales? Does anyone know if Pioneer has any plans to make there products compatible with android phones, so I could use pandora link, and the new app mode feature?
  11. i just installed the new X930BT for a customer and considering there is no post that i could find on how to bypass the video on this one, i figured i will have to be the guinea pig. Remove the yellow/black mute wire on the A/V RCA harness and move it exactly one pin on top of where the yellow/black mute wire used to be. Hope you guys find this helpful.
  12. i thought the same thing but then figured out if you just hit search on the lower right hand corner you could just spell the name or the first couple of letters in the name and it will take you right to it
