My motherboard died. Bought a new on on Ebay. -
My motherboard died and I couldn't reload the firmware. It was stuck on 100% read progress. I bought another one on Ebay and it works great but I am having some issues. First, I cannot do anything with the GPS while I'm driving. I never had this problem with the old board. Second, I have a whack of warning screens. One is brake switch is not properly connected or something like that. I haven't tried to watch a dvd yet but I'm sure it will error out. I haven't changed any wiring since installation. When I installed it, I moved the proper wire in the harness and grounded the brake swit

Many of us have gotten the dreaded Read Progress 100% stall. Obviously an internal memory chip is not working. Does anyone know which one it is? I'd like to tear mine apart and replace it. The service manual says there is a SDRAM part number EDS1232AATA-75E. There is a Flash 16MB part CWW1466. Basically without a rework station, it won't be worth it to try.

Count me in with the same problem. Read Progress:100%.

Did you ever get it fixed? Mine is doing the same thing now. -
NE1 come across the blank screen with only the menu, and map lights blinking then shuts off? I entered service mode and went to re-load all the software but it's hanging. It says 100% read progress but does nothing after that. Waited over 10 mins. Is my unit dead?

Thanks. I'll give it a cleaning and see if it helps.

When I connect a call, its clear and both parties can hear each other. But after a few mins the call gets garbled on the far end but the avic is fine. I know its something with the AVIC cause it happens with anyone I call. Any ideas?
