Yes if you follow the steps correctly then the Avic N2 should have come back up to the 50MT software, or which ever disk you put in for the last step. I preffered the 50MT.

I had trouble resetting my Avic N2 back to the original 50MT discs after I had installed the 60M discs. After you have installed 60M it does not let you reinstall 50MT unless you erased the memory that holds 60M. I understand that this method also works for the avic N1. Any Damage caused to your avic N2 N1 is not any of my responsibility. i have done this without a problem but if you are not comftrable doing this by yourself then take it to a technician and take them this instructions so that they can do it for you. I had the 60M disks and they sucked but I have resetted my N2 without a problem REMOVE DISK HOLD RESET AND EJECT RELEASE RESET BUT HOLD EJECT SCREEN WILL GO BACK IN AND OUT-THEN SAYS PLEASE PRESS THE RESET BUTTON…DON’T THEN WITH JOY PAD PRESS … UP,RIGHT,UP,RIGHT,DOWN,RIGHT,DOWN,RIGHT…THEN OK (JOYPAD BUTTON INWARDS) PASSWORD SCREEN WILL COME ON SCREEN BREIF

Does anyone know how to change back to the old 50MT discs because the 60M suck @$$
