Sorry ment to say iPhone5 currently doesn't work with the avic

VR still works for calling and music However VR for nav is gone Not sure about IPod control as the IPhone currently doesn't work with the AVIC One thing I wish they would have included was the ability to enter a zip or postal code That feature was in my old F700 and it was great for entering a address

I did the upgrade and it worked like a charm Thanks to everyone that worked on putting this together The x920 still has VR and I haven't noticed anything missing It also still has the issue with not being accurate when at a intersection But I am used to dealing with that

Did a little playing around with this when i had some free time If i turn off LTE the calls sound fine If i turn back on LTE i still have the issues hearing people while on a call and the volume going up and down. This even happens when i am in areas where LTE is not available I have the same issue when i connect to the Jabra hands free in the wifes van so i am assuming its not the AVIC at fault. This only happens using a BT device calls on the phone sound fine with LTE turned on. So for now i will just leave LTE turned off until Apple comes up with a fix for this

Before I do the upgrade I am curious if the VR still works on the X920 ? If I remember correctly the X940 has no VR

Anyone else having Bluetooth issues with a X920 and IPhone5 ? I am able to play music over Bluetooth just fine But when using phone the call volume keeps going from low to high And some times cuts out for 2 or 3 seconds The callers are able to hear me just fine however Works fine with IPhone4 and 4S Only have this issue with IPhone5 Bluetooth firmware on unit is from the last 2011 map update Tried looking for a newer firmware but couldn't find anything on Pioneer website

Well file this under Things that make you go HMMMMMMM Reloaded version 2 firmware and reloaded the version 3 and boom the mic works I had done this twice before with no success but for some unknown reason on the third attempt it worked.

Have you tried getting into service mode ?

I have a F900BT with mic issues Heres the story Bought one F900BT on Ebay that would lock up on splash screen Brought it back to life and upgraded it to 3.0 using the directions found here The mic however would not work No voice command no phone conversations I would phone people and it would just be dead air Confirmed mic was working cause i use the mic with a F7010BT and it works fine So i assumed the mic jack was bad or maybe a problem with the board. Sold that unit stating that the mic didnt work Now i have bought a second unit with the same issue locking u

Actually got it all working at last Heres what i did downloaded the F700BT restore files from the ftp site Did a restore per instructions i found Then re ran the 3.0 install and WHAM everything worked I know my bad for not making a backup of my original files MM

I also just noticed i have no working voice commands When i press the large button in map mode i hear the normal beep but the voice command screen doesnt come up

Just did this upgrade twice on my F7010BT When hitting the map menu and eject buttons and htting reset i dont get a pop sound but if i release reset i hear the cd drive and release eject and then i get the blue screen and can proceed as normal to do the update Everything goes ok during the update and the unit restarts fine Everything works except for bluetooth when pressing the phone button the unit just beeps but wont change screens etc When the unit starts up the bluetooth led flashes for a second and then goes out Have done the update twice with the same results no
