  1. Do you have an iPhone? If so just transfer them through the contacts list and they will show u with "M" next to it. Then you can navigate and call.
  2. What iPhone cable are you using? I know that from the 2g to 3G and 3GS they changed the dock connector cable and some newer accessories will not work with the older iPhone. The HU might be compatible with the 3G or 3GS.
  3. You can also see the splash screen when you "Eject SD Card" It needs to restart to do that.
  4. You could always have the unit wired directly to the battery, not sure how to do, but a install guy should know. The only thing is remember to turn it off otherwise the battery runs down.
  5. Just wondering if anyone out there knows of or has done a hack that let's you change the "off" screen to either the splash screen or a different one entirely?
  6. Once you get the picture cropped in the software, you just use the SD button on the bottom right and it saves it to the SD card. Once that is done install it on the HU by using the Data IN/OUT setting in Settings. Should work fine.
  7. I have not had any of these problems since my install. I also did the FW update and all seems good. I actually think the reception has improved. I get a couple of stations that I had trouble getting before.
  8. What make and model of car? Usually if it is a DD Unit, then it should fit with an aftermarket dash kit. I would go to Crutchfeild.com and input the car specs and see which radios will fit. If that Nav screen is a special size, you might have to find a work around.
  9. Make sure that the stick is formatted to Fat32 or 16. Some times sticks tend to have some weird formatting on them.
  10. Yes that is it 1111. I just installed mine last monday. I took a couple of minutes for iPhone to pair. Once paired though it works great. Try pairing from phone instead of HU.
  11. Wrong, The YouTube app on the iPhone does output to the TVOUT extension of the iPhone. You will need to put at least one video on the phone so the unit will switch to video mode. Once you have selected the video button on the screen and select the video that you have on your phone, you can open the YouTube app and start to play your vid. It will be output through the dock connector and displayed on the screen. Below is a demo of this in action from JasonH's demo vids. It starts at 1:44 viewtopic.php?f=56&t=29283 You are correct my mistake, yes you need to have a video in order for
  12. Yes, The iPhone does not support the playback of You Tube out of the dock connector. You can only watch Videos synced to it.
