  1. I did the software bypass on my X910Bt a long time ago. If everything has been fine, till out of th eblue I saw something about a warning with the parking brake and now it endlessly boot loops, splash screen to black, splash screen to black. However, randomly it will start working except for the gps will not show any position. If I had selected the radio to play previously, it will start playing the radio during the splash screen but then stops and goes through the boot loop.
  2. It's really this simple. Take the following wires from the AVIC: *parking brake *moved mute wire *AVIC black ground wire and connect them to the normally black chassis ground that comes from the car harness. it really is that simple, if you're having issues, then you have a connection problem, and the most frequent one is issues with folks butchering the mute wire when moving it.. I realize how simple it is and have had it working consistently (over a drive), then out of nowhere it stops. To fix it , I play with the two grounds and P-brake and mute and get it working again briefly. I
  3. Yeah, it's a little hard to see, but it's the only picture I could find anywhere that illustrated the whole bypass "finished". It goes off to the left, but it doesn't connect to the block with the yellow wire on the top. If you look on the left, you'll see the radio's ground with two black wires coming off of it. One of them is longer and runs towards the top of the table; the other is shorter and goes off to the left; that second one is connected to the other end of the light green wire. If you look close, you can see it and follow it all the way back to where the mute wire and brake wir
  4. It has been relatively cold out, below 40 F, and when I first start the car in the morning and the unit starts I get some white flickering/disruption in the display of the unit. However, the frequency decreases and disappears later in the day. Any suggestions? It makes no difference what function I am using and turning the car lights on and off also have no effect or cause this disruption. It happens whether I am sesile or in motion.
  5. I just installed my x910 and have had it in a couple days. I put in my home address as I am sitting on the side of the road next to my home and the map is off 3.7 miles?! Currently I have upgraded to the latest 3.00 upgrade, I did the parking brake bypass, I do not have the speed sensor wire hooked up and the gps antenna is as well placed in the windshield as possible. Suggestions? Thanks in advance guys.
