  1. I think it working goes in waves. I changed the uri to remove ephox and downloaded them. The new firmware is not bad. I think they fixed the ebrake app issues and it is much faster to go back to the AppRadio menu when closing an app. Other than that there is a Bluetooth icon now on the phone icon and in the radio. Overall a pretty good update.
  2. The links are still broken even thought they are advertising this from their front page. Here's a hint, remove ephox from the URI. Sloppy web work.
  3. I go to that link and click the download links for the firmware update and still get a page not found page. Strange.
  4. Maybe on the French site, but they are certainly not working on the US site. What url are you going to?
  5. Well looks like Pioneer in the US has published a page for the 2.50 update, however in typical Pioneer fashion, they have dead links on the page. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/AppRadio/AppRadio+(SPH-DA01)?tab=firmware
  6. Anyone with a US unit install this firmware yet?
  7. Just like other newly released app's, this one showed up in the App Radio app after it was released into the store. Makes me think that this is all just XML based list of apps that Pioneer modifies adhoc.
  8. This is a great start. This needs to replace the existing interface. Personally I feel like they should only include the Radio and Bluetooth by default, everything else should be an app and further more make it so we can put these apps on our home screen and not behind a menu. From there have it launch the appropriate app for what you are doing.
  9. The one change I notice is that the unit will attempt to launch the AppRadio app if it is not already running and you tap the icon on your appradio screen. Only thing is the iPhone asks if it is okay. It would be way nice if you could always accept by default. Other than that nothing new. iPod still cannot see or play music in iTunes Match.
  10. BTW, QNX is owned by Blackberry. Their Playbook tablet runs it and so will future blackberry devices with BBX. QNX is awesome!
  11. It's just broken links on their site now. If you can find the files, good on ya. Lets figure out what this firmware does.
  12. Looks like Pioneer listened. The new and much nicer AppRadio has been announced: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/AppRadio/AppRadio+2+(SPH-DA100) What do you think?
  13. It's called dashcommand and allows you to interact with your car and pull any stats available to the OBD2 port via a special dongle. This is exactly the kind of app that is perfect for the appradio. Check it out. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dashcommand-obd-ii-gauge-dashboards/id321293183?mt=8&ls=1
  14. This is great. Now just need Pandora and Inrix to get on board. Also it would be nice if Pioneer cleaned up the interface.
  15. Good to know. Wish they would all update with this. I did notice that StreamS did show up on the recommended apps app today.
