Can the AVIC-F700BT?

Wow, that sucks! How about the iTunes tagging? The box of the HD unit said that it had the capability, but I can't find where it says how to do it in either the HD manual or my F700 manual.

I just installed a GEX-P20HD HD radio tuner on my F700BT and the sound is amazing! The only thing I don't like/haven't figured out yet is the preset display. On my regular FM preset display it displays the station number next to each preset number so you know which preset is which station. When I set a station to the HD presets it displays nothing next to the preset number. Anyone know if there is a way to do this?

I got the black screen a few days ago randomly that a lot of people have been getting lately. I tried reinstalling the 3.0 update but ran into a problem getting into testmode. I can get to the "update CE" and "update SD format" steps and with the SD card in it starts reading. It gets to reading 100% and stops and doesn't start the writing process. I know the files on the SD card are good because I just reinstalled the 3.0 update on my fiance's F700 a few min ago to make sure the WINCEIMG files, testmode files and 3.0 update files are goo and it worked flawlessly (however, her unit didn't have

Yeah, you can't change them with auto correction on.

I am having problems with this also. I have the 3.0 update and even if I change time zones it changes back in a few minutes. Also, the clock on the map is different from the clock on the radio. The map is whatever timezone I set it to (for a few minutes anyway) and the radio is always the same time as "auto correction on" which is an hour ahead. Has anyone figured out how to fix this?

try it again. Check the files and keep trying it and checking the files until it works

Sounds like your winceimg files may be bad. Try using the ones from the megaupload links, those ones worked for me.

Bottom of page 40 contains everything you need for the update. There are two files, you unrar part 1 and it will decompress the files from both part 1 & part 2 of the downloaded files. ok, so if I unrar 1 it will do 2 automatically? Does it also combine the files so that you don't have to copy files from 2 into 1 (or vise versa) to have a complete 3.0 update in one place? I unrared both separately and manually transfered files from 1 to 2 so I probably missed some or put them in the wrong place.

I can still use the unit and have verified that it is now version 3.0. How do I get the startup window to go away? I know I probably need to reinstall 3.0, but what do I need to do differently? I dont see anywhere in any of the instructions for where I am supposed to use the "my flash disk" files that were in the 3.0 update download. What step am I actually putting the 3.0 firmware on my AVIC? And what is meant by "flash dump in step 9? I dont see a file with that name, but there is one called "dump files" in part 2 of the 3.0 download but it is empty.

I downloaded the files and there is a part 1 file and part 2 file. I thought that both these were the 3.0 update files. Step 4 says "put in your sd card with the winceimg files". Step 9 says " delete all the files from the sd card and put the testmode folder, DATA file, and the flash dump from torrent on". Are the DATA and flash dump files included in the files from megaupload also and are they named DATA and flash dump?

I am downloading the two files from megaupload.com, but I assume those are just the two 3.0 update files. Does anyone have a link to a working WinCEIMG file or do I even need that?

What did you do to fix it? I am having the same problem with my F700
