Hello, i just put in a wrong map DVD (i know it´s my fault...!). Now it shows the start screen, than just colour dots - than grey. That´s all. No chance to get in the menu. Nothing works, not even the radio. Has anybody an idea to get this dvd out?? I tried to disassemble it, but i don´t know how to slide the screen down to get the screws there ( there must be a few, get all the screws outside the "cage", but it still stuck on the frontside. Otherwise i should seperate the cage in two pieces) It is an OEM 2Din - Ford - AVIC-XD1277ZF - made by Pioneer... Can anybody help PLEASE

Hello, i have an Nav in my 2008 US Ford and need an Europe Map DVD (made by Pioneer AVIC-XD1277 with Navteq). A Friend starts to swap files with Europe Map (TeleAtlas Pioneer Europe). Now i can see where i am, i see major streets with names on it on the screen. But cannot zoom in closer than 500 meters, than the screen getting blue. If i try to navigate, system says "no road data exist". No POI at all. Does anybody know whats wrong, what i have to fix? Can somebody help? Whould pay for a solution! All this s****y comments, i knew, most american people are really "basic"... that´s all i can say if i read this. BTW, i don´t wanna save any money, i just have an american car with Pioneer OEM, and i am in Europe at this time!

Hi, i don´t want to hack the HU - but the map DVD... Can somebody help me PLEASE? I have no clue... I have an OEM AVIC-XD in my Lincoln MKX and want to use a European map. Pioneer want´s € 100000,- for providing a map... i would love to pay for a halfway working solution, but this is a little bit expensiv My thinking was: Take the original Ford DVD map, and swith the files of streets and poi. Is there any possibility?? Can me sombody tell me what files to switch? (I think "IDX Folder" is the POI?) I don´t want to throw away the HU, because i don´t want to ruin my THX system an

Hello, can anybody give me some help to modify my original navigation dvd map? My thinking: I take my OEM navigation map (Navteq SDAL) of my 2008 Ford AVIC-XD, take the USA / Canada Country / Road files out and instead of that, Europe files in (from a Volvo or Mazda Europe DVD, because: Pioneer US = Navteq - Pioneer Europe = TeleAtlas, Volvo / Mazda = Navteq) IS THAT POSSIBLE??? (someone i found in the internet tried it with Pioneer TeleAtlas files, it just work a little bit -> i only can see where i am with just only 500 meters zoom in) I am not familiar with that, what files to swa

Are you still have those maps? I am interested in! I hope they are not the original CNDV-90MT Pioneer DVD´s. They will not work if they are not modified... Ralf

Hello, i am new here, and i hear many people say "oh no, not again...." But i tried everything, Pioner, Navteq, Lincoln, Forums around the world... My problem: I just bought a 2008 Lincoln MKX with THX-Sound and navigation. But i live in Europe... is there any chance to get the navigation running? First i thought it´s all about the region code (US=1, EU=2) but i can handle this with some software... Everybody says it is more difficult..!? Has anybody some idea? I don´t need the latest map, but anything that works passably... HU is made by Pioneer - AVIC XD 13xxx Map: Navteq
