  1. make sure you burn the DATA disc to be compatible with all systems. Windows and Mac. I use Toast for all of mine as well and never have issues. Create a Data Disc. Create a "PICTURES" directory and then drop your images in there. The system will only recognize 10 images at a time, maybe you put more than 10 on there? Pick your favorites and burn to a disc. If you need more help PM me.
  2. No it will not reset your personal settings. It should only update the navigation software, however the system will go into a loading and reboot mode while all this take place. My iPod kept playing the whole time though when I did mine driving down the road.
  3. if you know how to d/l torrents and rip ISO image files... go buy some dual layer discs and have fun! http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5222474/CNDV_90MT
  4. the disc does not determine your route... the settings in your system menu detiermines which route will be calculated. make sure you don't have roads designated to avoid. Like for instance they have turned a road into a toll road here in my area since the last dic, and since I have toll roads set to avoid, even the FREE section of the hwy gets avoided by the system when calculating routes. I had to turn off toll road avoid to get it to start routing my on "shortest" route again. My $0.02.
  5. I found this on these forums somewhere... Burned dic image to dual layer disc on my iMac using Titanium Pro with disc purchased at my local best buy. Works flawlessly in my D3. http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5222474/CNDV_90MT
