Dreading

There is no power switch. ...Except for that one at the top left of the removable screen face plate when you take it out of the head unit. If the switch is left in the "on" position, the screen will not shut off when you shut off the car. But there is no way to shut off the entire unit if the faceplate is installed and the engine is running.

I didn't have any luck hooking up my Creative Zen - not even just for sound. But reading these forums, it appears people have been able to play and control a Sony Walkman and various flash drives. I have not yet tried my windows mobile device. I might give it a shot, but I sorta doubt it's going to work. There's always the aux option, but your sound quality may be poor. I would love it if people posted the names and models of devices that have worked with full control from the unit.

DJ, which Sony Walkman model? Might look at that as my next option. As far as my 2 cents, I got my U310BT for $250 and I have been happy with it for that price. Not sure I'd want to pay much more, though. My only complaints so far are: (1) No Aux on front panel (2) No main menu (3) Not able to use SD card for music
