  1. I did a similar fight today. I used AVS Convertor and tried a whole slew of formats and also tested USB/SD and DVD-R medias. My tests are listed below, but the best format I've found was DivX 6 .avi format, 1500 kb video, 192 kb audio on a DVD-R. The results are on the left. There is a cap on video bitrate like the manual says at 1000kb/s for the SD Card. This is NOT the case for the Data DVD-R. A regular dvd of up to 10.8 Mb/s can be played with the disc and the standard of 1500 kb/s works well with the DivX, but won't work with the SD. All the SD media at 640x480 was choppy (words didn'

If someone just said "well pioneer said we couldn't do it , so let's give up," we wouldn't have hacks to start with. What chip(s) does the z run on. Anyone flashed the memory and extracted a prog? We programmers can do anything right haha. This is a pep talk lol. Someone give me some good threads to read and some direction and ill throw some coin at it.

Just wondered if it is possible to do the speed sign hack with the z. Also, I saw the video blog from soundman about the competition (race) to get the Android OS installed on an AVIC. Apparently he was under the impression that you can get to the Windows (CE?) screen, can I do this? I thought this was a proprietary OS. Sorry if this is a multi-discussion thread. Primary discussion = posted speed limit signs. I NEED THAT cuz
