  4. Does this information help? BSP Structure: http://avichacking.shoutwiki.com/wiki/BSP 64bit device emulator: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5352 clone or create a wince bsp: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms903963.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396 I haven't tried any of this but I'm working on understanding it now to see if it even pertains to the Z series. Nevermind, I see I am on the wrong track... looking at Windows Automotive 5 now.
  5. Works for Z120BT 2885 files extracted.
  6. We are all interested in how you freed up the gps port. Can you explain the step that you took Somniac?
  7. I THINK Testmode will allow you to fix any image issues. Perhaps someone else can elaborate on/verify that.
  8. Back up with testmode and then load up Condi's Hackmode! He has provided some tools that will run on the unit (some you may need to download in this thread) but I don't know if any of them can do a stack dump, perhaps you can figure that out once you begin digging around.
  9. Sounds to me like you might be able to help us get past the next barrier with your experience with WINCE. Condi has made it possible to run other GPS software but cannot gain access to the GPS Port. It seems to me that we need to replace the contents of EU090PLT.PRG (platform?), EU090RGD.PRG (registry?) and EU090BOT.PRG (boot?) in order to have a fully functioning WINCE running in order to run any program and/or modify the skin.
  10. Interesting possiblility... "Microsoft announced on 5 January 2011 that the next major version of the Windows NT family (now known as Windows 8[44]) will include support for ARM processors. Microsoft demonstrated a preliminary version of Windows (version 6.2.7867) running on an ARM-based computer at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show.[45]" Source
  11. Dumprom of: EU090BOT.PRG > EU090BOT.bin > EU090BOT.nb0: nk.exe EU090RGD.PRG > EU090RGD.bin > EU090RGD.nb0: AstProc.exe nk.exe coredll.dll ceconfig.h snapshot_secureos.dat
  12. Ah, I misunderstood you. The emulator you are referring to (Chuck88's AVIC Emulator for WinCE) uses an NK.bin from another system right (not z120bt)? I have been trying to load the .PRG files from my z120bt as bin (and even as .nb0) into the emulator.
  13. Oh, Sorry, I misunderstood. I am at 1.3 now and thought 1.4 was autoupdate from 1.3. No need for autoupdate, thanks!
