  1. I see. So the camera might be too "power hungry" for the reverse light wire. I guess I'll try connecting the positive side of the camera to the reverse wire under the dash where I have the AVIC reverse wire connected. Thank you for the replies and I'll post results.
  2. I have the x920bt and the Audiovox ACA200W camera and having trouble getting it to work. My HU works great and I did a dry run with the camera before mounting by just running through VID1 input; worked fine. So, the camera is connected through the reverse lights for power, and video cable running to brown backup cam input on HU, then reverse wire from HU to the reverse wire circuit on vehicle. And I tested the reverse wire which is at 2 volts constant and 13.4 volts in reverse. But, nothing happens when I put the car in reverse. Camera setting is on and set to battery.   3. I know this thread is kinda old, but I just purchased the X920BT and performed the "mute ground wire" hack and it unlocked perfectly. Also, when doing this hack you have to remove one of the pins from the connector and move it over one slot. The pin was difficult to remove but I figured out a new approach to this. Instead of inserting a pin or staple into the end of the connector, I noticed that the connector has tabs on the outside which can be opened a little. So open them as far as possible without breaking anything, then insert the pin or staple into the SIDE of the connector where the mu
