  1. Pioneer App Radio announced Actually, this link seems to have more detail, but looks like the press release or something official: Pioneer's AppRadio...
  2. Vaporware? hah! Let's just say... this week might be very interesting. Stay tuned.
  3. It doesn't appear to do much. Pioneer's notice only says it fixes a parking brake error message.
  4. Actually... before you get all mad and spout off, might want to fact-check. I just searched for "Anneville, PA" on Google maps. Doesn't exist. There IS an Anneville, DE though. And yeah, the Pioneer unit doesnt make it easy to deal with situations like these unfortunately... unless you have the right state, it just won't work. *sigh*
  5. You need to set the STATE to the correct state. It is easy to forget this, it's not obvious. Make sure the STATE is set to PA, then try.
  6. It's looking for the PandoraLink application, which has not been released yet. Sounds like it was submitted to Apple, and everyone is just waiting for Apple to review & approve.
  7. No, you will need either an AVIC-Z110BT or the new AVIC-Z120BT to do that.
  8. You should have paid them to do the install. Cool guys like that deserve to make a living, pay some bills. Otherwise they end up closing shop and won't ever be around. Cause they sure can't be paying the bills on the 920BT sale at $250 off...
  9. What I heard was that Pioneer submitted the PandoraLink app to Apple, and it's waiting for Apple's approval. If you follow any of the stories about Apple's approval process, then you know that it can take somtimes take awhile for new apps. But hopefully it will go through soon!
  10. No, the maps are all on internal memory. The SD card slot is just for updates and playing mp3s, etc.
  11. The USB interface does leave something to be desired, which is why most use an iPod - the interface is much better with an iPod, try that. Voice control doesnt work with USB, only iPods. Also, you cant do song titles. Check your manual, gives some tips there on how to use it. Works pretty slick.
  12. They just posted a new firmware, might fix your issue, should try it. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/In-Dash/GPS-Navigation-Systems/AVIC-U310BT?tab=F
  13. Pioneer posted a new firmware update yesterday: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/In-Dash/GPS-Navigation-Systems/AVIC-U310BT?tab=F
  14. Yeah, the Alpine is in another class - a lower class! The Pioneer supports iPod/iPhone FULLY - I have a 120GB iPod connected, and also connect my 32GB iPhone 3GS at times. Works awesome. To me, I could care less about the USB since I just use iPod for storage. Disc changer also doesn't matter - iPod takes care of that. The no remote control sucks, but you can do a steering wheel interface. That one comes down to, do you really use a remote control often?
  15. Tried this today! Pretty slick, the lack of poins of interest is no longer a prob - just look it up on the iphone, and xfer it over!!!
