I have not been able to figure out the live traffic settings. also why is the weather settings not working? this is on the nex8000

its all about what you personally want. some stores do have demos out. go there and try to play with them. price is another factor. if you really cant afford the extra cost then its a shut case. go with what you can afford.

finished my first half of the installation. i guess ill be enjoying it for now with all the new features it comes with. the actual great sound will come shortly with upgrading the speakers.

did it to my nex8000. little message popped up.

unplug the main harness in the back of the radio. then plug it back in. it will restart everything.

so i just turned it on with all the parts attached. it all seems to work. i like the way the navi tells me im over the speed limit. it also knows how fast each street is suppoed to be. these are all the items that work: pandora. sirius xm. navigation. cell phone connection. cell phone charging. netflix. video from cell phone. usb stick.

i just attached it. i will turn it on today to test to see if it works.

i just test drove the new A3 sedan. cant wait to see the s3 for america in a few months. all the new cars coming out now have thier own dedicated navi system which will make upgrading in the future near impossible.

do we need to install the pioneer connect app for the nex 8000? what does this app do anyways?

when we unplug the battery will we need to redo this procedure everytime?

does it instantly recognize it when i plig it into the nex8000?

thanks for that. I forgot about that little adaptor when I searched for it a few months back. I did order the EPL-FU10BEBSTD I guess ill give it try tomorrow when I attempt it again. has anyone tried it wired with Pandora? im curious if the icon will light up vs its grayed out status now?

hey guys im actually in the middle of doing the install right now. I bought the pioneer CD-AH200 kit. in the kit it comes with an assortment of cables. what I have is a Samsung galaxy S3 android cell phone. in the instructions it tells me three version of the install. im not sure which route is right because I tried doing both and all it does so far is charge the cell phone. it does nothing else. the two are: 1. using HDMI port 2. using MHL port I am trying to run Pandora as a test run and it does nothing. *it does charge the cell phone, but it does not recognize the
