  1. If you downloaded the CNDV-80MT, you might have gotten the same version that I got which is missing some files necessary. Just take them from your old working disc and use a program like MagicISO to add them to the new ISO before you burn it. The files/folders listed in the JPG are commonly missing on newer map discs including the CNDV-100MT which I got working on my AVIC-80DVD. (Also make sure you replace the new DVI.DAT file with your old one)
  2. I got the CNDV-100MT map update to work for my AVIC-80DVD by adding the missing files from a CNDV-80MT disc to the ISO before burning. It usually works, but I keep getting a "Please Insert Appropriate Disc" message every 4 or so car starts. Then I have to eject and re-insert the disk to get it working. Does anyone know how to get around this problem? (Obviously, a genuine CNDV-100MT map disk will not work since it doesn't officially support my Nav unit)
  3. As far as I know, TV signals were not meant to be received in a moving vehicle whether analog or digital. The only other option would be to put a satellite dish on your car to watch TV while driving. I have a PERFORMANCE TEKNIQUE ICBM-DGT Digital TV Tuner and it gets great reception while staying still, but once you start moving it gets choppy and cuts out at higher speeds.
  4. I think you have to reset the device and then use the DVD that worked correctly before. Anyone know how to reset our device?
  5. I sorted through all those pages and found out what you did which was put 3 missing files onto the memory card. (EU10APT.HTM, EU10APT.PRG, & DVI.DAT) I tried this with a CNDV-100MT iso that I made from a friends DVD disk and got it working. But instead of putting the missing files onto a memory card, I used MagicISO to directly integrate the missing files, replacing the DVI.DAT file, and then burning the ISO. It's worth noting that the CNDV-100MT has even more files missing than the CNDV-90MT did. I've uploaded a picture of all the files you need to get the CNDV-100MT disk working...
  6. Very interesting and thanks for your help. I was having trouble loading the CNDV-80MT but thought it was because I burned it wrong or something. I called Pioneer and it is a $200 flat-rate service charge to fix a broken laser! Can you tell us which files I need to copy over to the memory card and what memory card you are using?
  7. So all we need are a "PCMCIA to SD adapter" and a "16GB SDHC" to get it to work? I'm thinking it might be possible to put BOTH East and West disks on a 32BG memory card and just have the West disk in the drive. That way it can still boot and you might be able to have the whole country.
