  1. Any idea when these will be on sale? I see the non-nav DVD units are already on Amazon.
  2. Yeah thanks - Here is the response I got from Pioneer > Date: Tue, 9 Oct 2012 13:03:16 -0700 > From: customer.support@pioneerservice.com > Subject: RE:Feature and Specification|A00002|3032896026 [#1425135] > > > > Thank you for contacting us regarding the compatibility of Pioneer products with Apple's new iPhone5 and iOS6 operating system. > > We certainly appreciate your concern, and we are in the process of thoroughly evaluating these new interfaces. While we are not able to provide any specific update at this moment, please continue to check our website
  3. Thanks- can you please advise how/where one might get the fix? I am having this same issue with my AVH-P4400. I searched the Pioneer site but came up empty. Thanks in Advance.
  4. My x920 was stolen (literally ripped from my dashboard) and it had the password set- so I have mixed feelings about information like this being available to >cough< 'anyone'. Ultimately I guess why should legitimate owners suffer b/c of the handful of a$$hats that are out there... Now with my replacement x930 I have the password set AND I take the 'face' with me when parked in public... Cheers
  5. Thanks for the feedback guys! Insurance is picking up the tab after the deductible which is cool. Spoke to the installer at Car Toys and he confirmed that without the security code the new 'owner' is screwed I wish I had a sticker on it saying that the radio would be useless BEFORE they ripped my dashboard apart. Some of the HVAC controls are jacked, along with the hazard switch that no longer works. What a mess... So I can't wait until May obviously, seeing how I already went to use my backup cam and turn on the tunes like 20 times today only to realize 'doh!' I no longer have a stereo .
  6. The wife and I went out for a little New Years Eve celebration only to return to this! The car was locked and in a 'paid' parking lot, though no attendant was on duty. I am so pissed 2012 started out like this! I have 2 questions at the moment.... 1) I had the security code set- will this make the unit useless for the asshat that stole it? (I pray!) 2) Should I go for another 920, the new 930, the Z130 or wait for the next gen units to arrive (anyone know what time of year the new models are announced?)? While not perfect, I really loved my X920. It worked amazingly well w
  7. I have been very happy with the 'Advent' CAM330 CarToys installed for 99 bucks. It puts out a clear image in all light conditions and has a 160 degree field of view. The case is very well contructed (ie rugged, waterproof, with an adjustable mount) A nice bonus is that is pretty small, so it's barely noticable on the back of my truck. IMHO one of the main things you'll want to look for is a wide field of view. My factory Acura cam has an almost 180 degree field of view which makes backing up in that car noticably easier than in the truck- just a heads up. More info http://www
  8. Just installed my 920bt in my Xterra...Loving it so far! Here are a few I just put together. (You may have to edit the image size a bit)
