New install. Red and yellow wires are connected correctly and power tested in the vehicle (yellow constant, red switched). 8100 stays on when car is turned off. Testing the wires while in the car I found that the radio runs on yellow only -- and when I tested red coming out of radio while it is running on yellow only, red is outputting 12v??? (that's without radio red being hooked into harness) I think I have a defective unit. Any ideas appreciated

Error message "DVD-Rom has some problem" Can't eject disk, screen is black other than message. Lots of models, not sure where to start. Appreciate thoughts -- including getting the D3 fixed as an option
