  1. Has anyone noticed you can't actually download anything from Pioneer's site today? For any of the models if you click the link to download firmware literally nothing happens. It's as if they removed any links to the firmware downloads yet you can download the pdf's explaining how to apply the firmware... I have the 8100NEX..
  2. Hi all, I have a 8100NEX and in USB slot 1, I have a 3rd party usb 3.0 extension cable (I have the default pioneer extension cable in usb slot 2) and from there a lightning cable connected to my iPhone 6plus. I just got the unit installed a few days ago and updated the firmware to the latest. I noticed a few times when the iPhone 6 plus is connected the following issues: 1. When bluetooth is on and AppRadio mode in being used, sometimes the source switches to bluetooth from AppRadio and then doesn't let me go back to AppRadio and also the bluetooth audio fails too 2. When
  3. Hi, I really hope u see this message. I need to replace the same Bluetooth module and wanted to ask how to do it? Do you have the service manual for the z120bt? Did you need to do any soldering? Thanks!!!
  4. So, to date, there was never a solution around the stock issues? I tried a replacement stock mic and callers still report unrecognizable voice. After all this time, I just can't believe there was never a real solution.
  5. Hi all, Does anyone know if the new firmware released on 10/11/13 v4.6 / 5.1 apply to a Z120 that was upgraded to Z140? Thanks!
  6. I know some have said the z130bt displays the same mic issues as the z110/z120 and even a z110 upgraded to z130. Just wanted to know if anyone has seen an improvement going from the z120 to z130 via map update? Thanks
  7. Is there a later update from what's reported on the site? I think I'm at 1.02..
  8. Hi freaksavior, What did pioneer have to say?
  9. I'm a software quality assurance specialist and believe me this is software related unless the hardware component(s) responsible for handling the input of the mic are the cause of this bluetooth/VR issue. The fact that some of us including myself have tried other mic’s on the 120 proves the mic is not the issue especially for those of us who used the supplied mic on another unit and saw it work. The fact that the 130 seems to have these issues resolved indicates the software has been updated to correct previous defects or perhaps a rewriting of the code occurred. Again, this assumes the
  10. Hi all, Sorry I haven't got back to this thread in a while. So I installed the parrot mic located here: http://www.parrotsho...m.aspx?i=203437 There's basically no difference in audible quality on my listener's end...they still can't hear me. I have it posted on the driver's visor. Anyone have any luck elsewhere?
  11. I gave up using my AVIC-Z120's BT several months ago after hearing not one person could hear me clearly. I've just ordered the Parrot mic located below and will post my test results once installed. http://www.parrotshopping.com/us/p_parrot_item.aspx?i=203437 Thanks!
