do the language switch and use original navi discs. burned ones ruin the lens. buy originals & CDR55 remote if u plan on keepin her 4 a while. got mine back like dat.

same thing happened to my navigaton a couple days ago after installing a new battery in my car. d3 asks for appropriate disc to recalibrate i guess then goes to a black screen. tried my original west coast dvd and the 2010 one, still nothing works on the navigation. i spent $2000 on this navi in march 2007
