  1. Well, here's my problem. I've just got done fixing the problem with my rca output and now I've came across a new problem. After the fix my screen would come out but not fold up, but now it won't even come out at all. What could be causing this problem? Also does anyone know where I could find the plastic clip that is used to hold the ribbon cable in for the cd drive? I've looked through the service manual and I can't seem to locate it.
  2. Anyone know how I can adjust the screen so it doesn't open and tilt all the way back? Reason I ask is when the screen opens it hits against the overhang of the dash (95 jeep grand cherokee). I know my old kenwood I had you could adjust the screen so it only opens so far. thanks
  3. The only thing I can think of that might of happened is when you done the bypass you might of accidently came into contact with the metal of the casing or something else. Since the screen is opening and the cd's still eject, that would be my only guess.
  4. What would you want for a copy of the east coast disc? Also what version is the software anyways?
  5. If you happened to live on the west coast, I can send you the dvd that came with my system since i have no use for it.
  6. What kind of questions do you have? As for the VSS info, here you go... VSS Lead Orange Driver's Shock Tower Connector . Hope that helps you out some.
  7. actually no not yet. i'm going to swing by radio shack and get that tracer pen so i dont have to worry about the whole saudering thing.
  8. I dont know if this has ever been answered, but I installed the N2 into my 95 jeep grand cherokee and everytime I start up the car and the radio turns on, I get the message about the parking brake. I have the parking brake going to a ground through a switch and that seems to work fine, except for the message. Does it take awhile for this system to set itself up to the install or something?
