not to pull up an REALLY old thread, but can someone tell me if the x930BT has the "vehicle dynamics" like some of the older avics? I came from an avic-z1 and loved that feature. Can't find it anywhere on the x930bt.

What I did was install the pioneer illumination wire to my "dimmer" wire. Then I adjust my dimmer control.

Totally agree with you. I prefer bluetooth streaming any day anyways.

The problem isn't that android isn't standardized. The problem is that Android (except for honeycomb) has never integrated this "control" protocol into their system. Now when ice cream sandwich (next version of android) comes out, it should have USB hosting, and this will fix those issues. But until that gets released, we just sit and wait and be jealous. Not true. they're are 4 IOS OS's now.... Soon to be a 5th. Almost ALL android devices are standardized by using microUSB. I am currently a DEV for the android platform. I am new to the avic scene, but can't wait to dive in. Totally want to integrate android on these things. With USB hosting now available for Android 3.1 and on up, it will make things very interesting in the months/years to come.
