  1. I have the TESTMODE and instructions to get you going. Basically use the TESTMODE to get you to the desktop of WINCE on the AVIC ( looks like a small laptop desktop.) have a usb jump drive connected to the ipod harness, and have all your files on the USB drive use Copy/move command from WINCE to replace files in MY FLASH DISK folder on AVIC reboot woolaaaa.... up and running took me three years to perfect the process. NO codes, blue screens, or BS simp[le and quick
  2. have X910BT running Chucks88 and its great just updated to 2013 maps and POI got all files necessary online
  3. I have everything for x910bt testmodes backed up "my flash disk" with Chucks88 mod on it BEST THERE IS FX3.1 Mod I brought mine back from BRICK several times...if the lights come on there's hope!!!!!
  4. 1. Learn how to use testmode (on this forum). Then download and use a MOD. I suggest Chucks88.
  5. put newer maps on a sd card. Use testmode to get into system, folder in "my Flash Disk" - APL2 - iGO - content - Maps Copy maps into and over the maps in that last folder. OR - pay the $120 and getthe update from Pioneer.
  6. hold reset and Menu + Map +Eject, then let reset go. stopped the constant reseting of myunit long enough to load new image.
  7. Genius! MBR back in business. Few clarifications on his directions. I did this on a x910bt. Part 1- Downloads Download the firmware upgrade from Pioneer it is best to use the earliest version, F-Series 2.006000. You can find it on Pioneers website: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/In-Dash/GPS-Navigation-Systems/AVIC-F700BT?tab=F Download the latest Version of Testmode , it should be Testmode V2.3 Download these two files provided by Carver they are the ones responsible for bringing your unit back to life. http://www.4shared.com/file/1
  8. I need those system files, "mbr" too.
  9. I have the exact same issue. I had previously deletedthe mbr by mistake. Now I want to know how to "re flash" the boot files back?
  10. I have a x910bt. I modded it to a custom image that was awesome and worked awesome. However, I found a screen that was a map option. I picked the Navteq maps. That was it my system stopped working. I added maps, deleted maps, tried to do everything to get my totally awesome system back up. In the process I deleted the mbr from the blue screen list of options. I am desperate to figure out how to re-install the boot files. If you could send me a copy of your mbr, I have a large collection of "my flash disk" files and two full mods. kcell at cox dot net
