  1. I'm sure many of us are wondering what do we do with our app radio that is now truly "just a radio" once we've upgraded to an iPhone 5? I thought about keeping my iPhone 4 around and creating a wifi network in my car so I could stream using airplay.. but that's two extra gadgets and doesn't seem to be worth the hassle. However, I found this interesting device and was wondering what others thought (CoolStream). http://www.amazon.com/CoolStream-Bluetooth-Receiver-Adapter-docking/dp/B008EL58YA/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1352992457&sr=8-6&keywords=bluetooth+adapter+ipod I'm th
  2. I've tried 2 thus far and neither work for anything but audio.
  3. Rosno The ability to use the apps that require the parking break to be set isn't contingent on appradio extensions. Pioneer has changed the way this break thing works at least once now so only an actual switch will continue to work if an when they alter it again. I would suggest a full factory reset on the head unit then make sure you're using a switch to see if you can get your parking break apps to work.
  4. When the beta is ready for user testing will it be made available on Cydia? If there are issues do you have any suggestions how to roll back.
  5. If Mike didn't encounter any issues then that's good enough for me. Much appreciated Mike! Your extensions make this product an amazingly versatile car audio system. let's just hope pioneer keeps improving it. Thanks for the quick reply. And for anyone else asking this question. According to mike it's safe to update the iPhone app radio app as it still works with appradio extensions.
  6. I just ran thought the radio update to version 2.5 and all is well with appradio extensions. However because of Mikes's fine work I'm always cautious when updates to firmware or the iPhone app comes out. Has anyone tried the 1.7.0 release to see if anything breaks with appradio extensions?
  7. Does the app radio dim when your dash lights turn on? I'm pretty certain I have the illumination line hooked up to the lights lead.
  8. I've been waiting for this exact feedback.. With appradio extensions I've got everything working exactly as I wanted so I didn't want to blow everything up by upgrading to AppRadio 1.5. Again thank you Mike!
  9. By the way Mikedecaro... I love what you're doing and thank you very much for making this platform much better. I love that I have it customized exactly the way I hoped it would work when I bought it.
  10. FYI I think I've discovered a bug. Once I installed the appradio extensions I couldn't change my wallpaper on my iPhone. Go to preferences -> wallpaper and then it attempts to load but then crashes the preferences app. By removing appradio extensions or disabling them the problem goes away. Here is my syslog output that shows the issues. ## syslog Feb 29 22:07:00 Booyahs-iPhone itunesstored[1196]: MS:Notice: Installing: com.apple.itunesstored [itunesstored] (675.00) Feb 29 22:07:00 Booyahs-iPhone itunesstored[1196]: MS:Notice: Loading: /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibr
  11. In order to make this work you need to follow the instructions from the first post "rsquared". Then you either need to wait 5 - 10 minutes after making the changes or reset the head unit and see if the wall paper displays. Keep in mind resetting erases all your custom settings and puts it back to factory defaults. Try one of the wall papers I posted and make sure they display.
  12. In the latest software revision others have mentioned they expanded the brake checking crap. I used to only have to hit my button once to get to watch movies, now I have to hit it twice. I don't think a relay will work anymore since they're now requiring a dual pulse instead of a single one.
  13. I also concur with the others. I used the Axxess controller on a 2004 Ford F150 and it worked flawlessly the first time I plugged it in. However, on that note, the wiring harness I used had the wires in the wrong place so I had to move them around to the correct location to pickup the steering wheel input feed.
  14. I upgraded my firmware and now I have to hit the override button twice to get past the nagging screen.
  15. I just created two decent looking wallpapers to share. I got impatient and hit the reset button to find that I had to re-input all my settings... NX120_BG_2.bmp NX120_BG_1.bmp
