  1. Sorry I missed that you had to change the App connection type from Wired to Bluetooth in settings, but still - neither app connection will stay connected or ever show the display on the head unit. You have to mess around with the settings just to get the apps' audio to finally go through the car, and when it finally does, the disconnected bluetooth message continually stays on the screen no matter what and eventually the audio drops back to just through the phone too. Completely broken here and useless. This goes for Pandora and Aha. OP do you know why this isnt working properly at all?? I
  2. I upgraded my X930BT to the X940BT software using this thread. I have an Android Galaxy Nexus. Am I supposed to be able to get Pandora and Aha Radio to sync between my Nexus and the head unit via bluetooth so they show up on the head unit display? Because no matter what I try, it doesn't work at all. It always stops at the head unit message of "Look at your smartphone screen when safe to do so" but nothing ever happens and the apps continue only on the phone screen. I sync bluetooth calls and audio just fine. Help?
  3. X930BT here. Mostly everything here worked for me except your auto replacer script- no matter what it wouldn't automatically replace the RenewalIFLib in the folders, so I had to manually delete the old ones in prg0 and prg1 and copy my modified one over manually in Test Mode. No problem, but just wanted to let you know I couldn't get your auto replacer to run. Any idea why it wouldn't have? After that, finally the map update accepted any password and did the update! Thanks a bunch!! Can't wait to see if the other guys get the VR working on the X930BT....
  4. Can you explain how to do number 1 for some of us? Also, the Z140 update page has no files to download... Thanks.
  5. Screw the warning message, can you tell us how to get the gauges?? Lol. '04 WRX here and would love that... What else did it take besides hacking the unit itself? How is it getting all the readings?
  6. That is ridiculous. How dumb is it to not get map updates for the current year despite not being the newest unit. Such assholes.
  7. -Will we ever have the ability to update the GPS maps for 2012 if/when available? Will Pioneer offer them to us as a DL from their website? I can't imagine they'd let the HU get out-of-date each year without map updates?? If they won't be offering it, is it possible to get it via modding? -Is there any way (via system modding) to actually have a custom wallpaper/background in the HU software, besides the splash screen? Not sure there are no internal wallpaper settings or abilities of any kind.. Thanks.
  8. Since the new X940BT coming out looks literally the same as the 930 except that Pandora and Aha (and possibly other apps) can now work between Android and the HU, will this software update possibly be usable/installable on our 930s? If the slight software difference is all that is changed between the two, it would be stupid to have to upgrade- maybe it's possible to get on our 930s from you crackers? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0OOGwJCaWY
  9. Can you explain this better and maybe with pics? if there was a way to do full bypass without the rca connector harness, i would in a heartbeat. That harness is a waste of space behind the head unit that i would love to not have there. Would appreciate it, thanks!
