I just replaced a d3 with a f700bt in my girlfriends SUV. The harness was plug and play. I did have to pull the VSS wire from the harness & put into the new f series harness. I also did the same thing with taking off the grey fakra & swapping it with the green fakra adatper for the gps.

yeah this would be great if someone could crack this. I used to have factory vw nav & it sucked like this as well. there was a fix use a cable & tell your car u are in the UK and it goes away. I wonder if that could be done with the f series units?

what type of phone. i know my blackberry has a transfer contact option in the bluetooth area on what to send. hope that might help ya.

the hardwire is very easy to do. all that u need to do is move mute wire from row 1 slot to to row 2 slot 4 goes between two black wires. then wire the mute parking brake & ground together, thats it.

is anyone using a gexp910 on a f series unit & is it working ? i know the nav traffic won't work. thanks
