I used those crimp splices. i just think it is a crappy camera. I believe it is a koolertron. Even when it does work the picture is very blurry. I am unwilling to run the wires again as was unbelievably hard to get all the wires hidden. That and the 120 degree weather this past summer, made this an all day event.

I also dont really have many problems with mine. Yes you seem to have found a way to duplicate a screen freeze. So just dont do that and all should be fine. Mine has frozen a few times but I have learned what not to do and it hasnt happened since. Software drives these decks in a big way. There will be bugs. I have never had a deck work 100% perfect. My last deck was a CLARION NX409. It locked up daily and required a hard reset to fix each time. This deletes all settings and radio favorites. Look that model up. It was notorious for fails.

Honestly I dont know. They ar music videos that were included with the cd during the ripping process. I know that 640x480 avi videos play just fine. I think since they are videos that i do not care about I will just delecte them from the SD card and that should fix the problem

I thought this was how it was supposed to work but the dang instruction for the camera install didnt explain it very well. What cable from the harness hooks to the camera for power?

my 64gb sandisk ultra sdxc is in the mail. And no it does not work via usb. Error incompatible usb device connected. It does charge just fine. So how are you liking the Note2?

I absolutely love this new phone. Long time Iphone user and recent android convert. Finally bluetooth streaming with controls are working again. I havent tried to hook my phone directly into it yet but I will try tonight. As far as advanced app mode goes...who cares really. That service is garbage anyways.

I also have this problem. Sometimes Ill put it in reverse and the screen will go black and other times it will switch to camera view. I blame it on the $12 dollar camera I have installed.

Probaby none of the above. Other than the bluetooth issues. From what I understand APPRADIO 2 has been update a few times since it came out.

Is there any way to change this? It seems that when I first got the unit it didnt do this, but now whenever I choose SD from the source list it trys to play videos first.

mine doesnt do any of that. I dont get any controls nor do I get album arttist/title/album info. All mine does will play audio. All controls must be done from the iphone. I hope this doesnt mean i have faulty bluetooth in my iphone 5.

I just got this off apples support forum. Its not lloking good for the new lightning connector. Here's an update for all Pioneer people. It's the basic not our fault, but their fault. ViceVersa for Apple. Just got off the phone with Pioneer, and they said that were pretty much out of luck. They're working on stuff, but the new Lightning Connector transmits audio Digitally now, instead of analog signals. The decks can't read it. So if you have or spent a bunch of money on a new deck from Pioneer, you're out of luck as far as using the iPhone 5. If you updated to iOS6, they sai

As compared to my last radio which was a Clarion NX409, this radio is shit hot. The clarion starting locking up just outside of my warranty period. Eventually all functions other than radio caused the touch screen to completely lockup. Like I said, other than APPRADIO not being worth my time, I love it. SD card is my fav part i think. I put a 32GB card in it and can watch both movies and all my music with no problems. What do you not like about it?
