  1. It is available for my Razr as well in US. Debating on whether to drop the 1.99 just to test it out and do a review for you guys. UPDATE: I bit the bullet and bought the app. I'll report back after a few uses.
  2. Yeah you can seem them, but they aren't actually .mp3 or.mp4 files. It is a cached folder. Yes you'll need to transfer the files to your phone in order to listen to your music. This is a bit annoying as I am just like you and always used the Google music app. Hopefully appradio will eventually make Google music a compatible app so we can still stream. This is where your offline or cached music is stored. sdcard/Android/data/com.google.android.music/cache/music
  3. So they are actually downloaded files from google music and not cached files? If you have google music save files for offline listening (you went through the process of selecting music in the app after selecting "save for offline" and then hit done) through the app they are not actually downloaded. They are just cached, so there is not an actual mp3 file. You'd need to actually download the files. from your computer and then transfer them over. I no longer use google music now that I have this and just use the stock music player or the car media player since all of my music is not actuall
  4. Ok, so my phone stopped asking to pair every time. I am not sure I did anything special. As far as getting past the part your describing with the parking break. What I have been doing and it's working great is set the phone to mirror when the hdmi is detected. Go through the bypass steps so that your phone is mirrored on the display. Then go into your apps and launch the car media app. When I do this it launches me into the AppRadio App and everything is perfect. For some reason I have to trick it but it works. Usually have to do the touch screen set up every time but that's no biggie.
  5. On the Android front I'd love to be able to still use our voice search app. I use this all the time to send texts and call people hands free. Would be nice if that was an app that could be used within the appradio system. If not that then Pioneer needs to create some app that will read out text messages when they are received. Something similar to the MotoSpeak app would be awesome. Right now all you get is the text message received notification which prompts you to pick up your phone and look at it. A mirror of the MotoSpeak app would be perfect, it tells you that a text has been rec
  6. Yes, it just updated to make the Galaxy Nexus compatible. I figured out a way to trick my system. If I put the phone in mirror mode and then go into my apps and open up the music player or one of the compatible advanced apps it then asks me to set up the phone and go through the touch screen dot portion. Everything then works fine. Unfortunately it makes me do this step EVERY time. I think this thing has huge potential and hopefully Pioneer is watching these threads and the Play Store comments to see how many problems there are. I got my system from BB and am a silver member so I hav
  7. This may seem like a silly and simple question, because I think it is, but when you connect your Moto Android phone do I need to set the HDMI to Mirror for everything to work? I was thinking that once connected the AppRadio app would launch and I'd have function to those apps without selecting anything on the HDMI connection options in the drop down box. Scenario 1: I didnt select anything and when I dont do that I get the "Warning watching video in a moving car is strictly prohibited" prompt and when I click my bypass I get the Motorola logo screen saver. Scenario 2: BUT when I select

  9. For some reason now for me to configure and do the white dots on the screen it is showing the dots on my phone and not on the AR. In order to see them there I have to enter "mirror" mode on my phone. The more and more things start happening make me think that I got a bad unit.
  10. Yeah, same thing here. Only way I can get anything on my AR screen is by checking the Mirror option when the HDMI is hooked up and that is after I do the parking break bypass. Nothing happens auto like it should when the app is running, showing as connected and the HDMI is connected. I'm about to take this thing back and either try another one or just move on.
  11. Ok, I figured it out and realized that there was a problem with my phone. Got that fixed and it now pairs, BUT now when I connect the HDMI cable it doesnt enter app mode. I get the "no video" warning/alert and then it just stays on that screen. Never switches into app mode although it does show in the radioapp that I am connected. This is getting frustrating. Just when I think I'm there! HA.
  12. What i don't understand is why does the device ask me to pair on my phone every time? Its thi normal? All of my past Bluetooth units asked me in the initial set up and the was it.I think this is strange.
  13. Can you explain a bit more? Thanks I think i have figured it out. It seems to be a touchy sequence. What i don't understand though is why does it ask me to pair on my phone every time? Its thi normal? All of my past Bluetooth units asked me in the initial set up and the was it.
  14. From my understanding you cannot use the AppRadio 2's touch screen interface if you are mirroring your phone. At that time you'll have to use the phone. You can only use the unit's touch screen when you are using the "Apps" that are compatible with the unit. So you can't use the units screen to control Google Navigation but you can use it to control Waze and Waze Navigation. I am having problems with my bluetooth connecting and disconnecting so I haven't had the time to really play with this bad boy yet. Hopefully I'll get a replacement soon. If I am wrong, someone please chime i
