iphone 4s on DA-01 (appradio1)??? the issue is that you only know it doesn't work after you have done the update!! i'm still on iOS7 for this very reason JJ

hi - i am having the same thoughts! i have an appradio1 and an iphone 4s and won't be bothering to swap the phone for some time. ive been stuck on iOS7 for ages as i know app radio 1 doesn't support the newer iOS (are we on 9 now?) and i'm starting to lose apps as they won't function on the older iOS either. all i want is apps (waze and dash command mainly) and music and bluetooth calls on the HU when i dock my iphone4s in its holder. does the appradio4 give any more future proofing through apple car play or are pioneer just gonna dump the users of older models like they have

i love the app as we dont have pandora in the UK and stock radio here is terrible 9.99 euros is nothing really (2 pints of beer) for a life time usage - i just want it to work so i have dropped Aupeo tech support an email JJ

well it now works with appradio1 BUT 1. Skip song no longer works 2. Selecting Mood offers no options and crashes the app 3. Selecting Genre offers no option and crashes the app 4. Selecting Sub Genre offers no option and crashes the app to resolve this i have to undock the phone from the radio, select the genre and sub genre there and then re-dock the phone with the radio. ​flippin annoying given i just had to pay 9.99Euros for the privilege JJ

yeah - seems right. i guess i'll have to pay and see what it does anyone else??? JJ

does anyone know what this 9.99Euro one off fee is for car mode? I have app radio 1 and not updated to iOS8 yet. after aupeo updated i no longer has access to everything i had before i used the "free trial" but could then only access a german radio station (using the app normally undocked from the app radio it works normally) so in my mind it seems as though aupeo have added a 9.99 fee for using in car mode full functionality. i don't mind paying for it as its pretty awesome BUT don't want to pay for it if its not needed. Help JJ

hi..... help I currently have an iphone4s and an AppRadio1 and have enjoyed both for over 2 years now. the battery on my iphone4s is bugging me and although i have changed it it is still bad so looking at upgrading. If i go iphone5s then i will need to change the HU. I have read lots of issues with the 5s and the appradio so that bugs me (current set up is fab) But looking at the 5600 i just find it busy on the screen and messy!! i like the simplicity of the appradio then add into the mix the possible update of the 5600 to take carplay then my head is well and truly fr

thankfully you have been proved wrong!! if they stop updating the platform then it will become "not fit for purpose" and consumer law states that that is a bad thing....even if outside of the 1yr warranty period. JJ

Would have been good to has found of a it this before I updated - just crashes all the time now and although still plays music through the unit - i.e. Aupeo! the screen is just black with a critical error message! What a flippin pain in the ass. They always stated that one of the good things about app radio was its ability to adapt and take on new firmware and apps. They best fix it quick JJ

flagged this up to aupeo a month or so ago (they weren't aware of the issue and the device hanging) chased them this week and update out in a few weeks JJ

???? i want the apps...... but when i plug the phone in, the screen says "welcome james' iphone" then changes to the app icons. why doesn't it just open onto the clock screen like it used to? JJ

WAZE seems to be fixed!! had to delete app, reinstall, re-register, accept terms, plug in and allow in car control keyboard works layout is slightly different JJ
