  1. I have an iPad 2 that I'd like to connect to Avic x930bt. When I connect it, it doesn't recognize it. Recognizes any of my iPad touches, but not the iPad. Software update perhaps? The unit was purchased in July 2011, been installed for a year. iPad is about 6 months old
  2. Worked for me too. Download the program to sd card, load from unit, find the password file, view it. Then restart and enter it. Perfect. Takes 5 minutes (after an hour of running to Wal-mart for the sd card, downloading the software, figuring out how to navigate the unit with the software)

To get your password, all you need to do is use the hack program to locate the password data file on the unit. Load the program from the SD card just like in steps 1 through 3 (unzip the program to your SD card, stick it in, the unit will recognize it and go into hack mode, then you can goto file maintenance). You need to find the password file. Something like user\system\security\password.dat When you find it, select it (on the 930x I hit the mode button when I had the file selected

Tonight I pulled it out of the dash to work on the video wiring and now it's asking me for a password! I tried every password I would have used, asked my wife and kids if they sent one (they just looked at me with blank stares).....I'm leaving for a 3 week road trip in one week with the vehicle. I need it fixed! Not going to spend $250 with Pioneer, plus I don't have the time! So, I ran to Wal-mart to buy an S
