How many are necessary and do the letters printed on the sides matter? I'm guessing I can use as many or as few line up with the mounting bracket? Btw, I have 1/2" screws (12 mm) which is longer then the supposed max of 8mm. Although screwing them in doesn't seem to make contact with anything on the inside and they screw all the way in/down. I'm using a Metra 70-2002 harness to connect to my stock Saturn SC2 harness. From the Pioneer manual it has one Orange/White wire "To lighting switch terminal.". But the Metra color code has two wirea I guess it could be, "Illumination - Orange" and "Dimmer - Orange/White." I've tried connecting the AppRadio's Orange/White to both the Orange and Orange/White wires of the Metra harness but it seems that the backlight on the radio only comes on when I turn the headlights off. When I turn them on the radio gets so dim it's barely visible. Any ideas which is the correct wire? And is the

Ok, but turning off the backlight saves battery and keeps the phone from over heating, the main problems when trying to mirror MHL for long periods of time.

I finally got a chance to test it, and turns off the screen on my Galaxy Nexus... Can't test with the AppRadio though because I don't have an MHL cable (I returned all the cheap ones I bought and cant decided whether to buy the official connectivity kit or modify a cheap one as kagronick suggested.)

It's pretty easy, and there are usually some 1-click solutions available. Basically install a custom recovery (ClockworkMod) and then a custom rom (CM10). After the initial formatting and setting up, it's a very easy process.

Have you looked at the apps in the Google Play Store? It tells you "What's New" with the newest updates...But the biggest thing was Jelly Bean support.

Oh you're asking about other phones that aren't the Galaxy Nexus and don't have soft keys on their screen, but actual soft buttons in their bezel...good question

When my phone starts to run really hot I usually try to take the case and back cover off, to at least ventilate the battery. Its a pain in the neck, but the biggest problem with all the extra heat is how inefficient the battery use/charging gets.

Just curious, what's the problem with bluetooth dongles? It would screw up this option?
