  1. @Rradeonorama: I have a US version HU. Whoa! that's awesomely kind of you to hear my cry:) So happy, tho! Would you share that US version once it's uploaded to your google drive? Very Truly Yours, -Aui P.S. I am leaning towards to having DL'ed an EU version of the fw. Hence, my frustration on with trying to update my X930BT (US headunit).
  2. Speedy response, wow! My thanks:) Okay, I will do the bakup of my USER files and will research about upgrading straight to 4.010 (crossing fingers). All I have to find are the 3.001 and 4.10 firmwares. Thank you for your time, as always! Have a nice day and cheers! - Aui
  3. Hey! When you say, Hackmode... is it the upgrade process of an X930BT to being an X940BT software? I am sorry, I am slow:( Did you get a perfectly working firmware for your X930BT when it was released? I have no luck, tho. Could you spare me a copy of the 3.001 fw? or is it too big for an attachment? I believe it's small enough to be sent thru email? Please correct me. I unpacked the one I downloaded and it's 26ish MB afted extraction. I really would love to update my HU's firmware:( Thank you!
  4. Hi, y'all! Could anyone share their "perfectly" working copy of the AVIC X930BT firmware (update) to me? I have tried the link(s) on some of the threads and it leads to a dead page - error 404? I have DL'ed one and extracted it, but it's not loading:( I will be happy to receive a copy of this firmware from anyone here who owns a 930BT and will gladly appreciate the help! Very Truly Y'all, Aui
  5. Hi y'all AVIC users on their GMC autos... I would love to have this display picture every time my X930BT loads. I don't have it on my Envoy with Bose Premium audio (yet) and I would love it to install on her, but it's quite a battle (for me) to install on my GMC Envoy because of the hassle(s) of buying a module that will let me keep the Bose amp and them warning chimes - I don't care about the OnStar; 'coz I don't use it. Anybody here could shine a light on this poor fella on what to do? I have installed quite a number of HUs in cars except GMC with hassle-ful Bose system. Thanks a lot!!!
  6. @Lyverbe: Thank you for your concern and replying to my cry;) I am just wondering now, if I can jump straight to 4.010 from a 3.000 firmware, tho? I DL'ed a firmware off of Pioneer's website, but it's not showing "z110"? I hope I didn't get that wrong. But, you know what I am after, right? I would love to have it updated first before I go thru flashing my X930BT with X940BT update. Am I making sense? Have you tried upgrading to X940BT? I heard it's got hi's and down's, tho. Anyhoo, please pardon me - if I sound like asking more than a hand of a help here. I am just getting to know my "new
  7. Hi! Sorry to dig this from the "buried" hole. But, I just got an AVIC X930BT and reading about "firmware upgrade" made me search for more. Unfortunately the link to that firmware's url is no longer available. Could there be a way for me to download it (have a copy) or anyone here is keeping it for a fellow 411? Thank you in advance!
  8. Hello:) I wonder where can I get the file "testmode" to extract it onto my microSD? I just could find it anywhere:( Or it's just me? Please help!!! I tried to install my X930BT from my 2005 Xterra to my 2002 Envoy XL SLT (Bose premium and amp) but, stopped right after I unhooked it because I read that I would be needing more stuffs for it to work on my Envoy. Now, after plugging back the Neg on the X there goes a password box. I would love to have the TestMode file so I can just recover that damn password!!! I have tried all that.... yeah! you know already... Thank you very much, anyo
  9. I have my setup on an 05 Xterra SE (RF premium audio - before) and I noticed that static/scratchy issue upon install. I decided to add some 2-more grounding points from the HU itself to the body and I think it solved that issue. BTW, I had the mic mounted inside the inst. cluster shroud upside down (upper left if you're looking at it) I then give a super clear audio on the other line. I believe if the unit is getting enough/proper grounding your golden - at least I fixed my issue by adding more grounding. Try it! Also check your mic wire/cable if it's really IN there at the back of the HU. T
  10. Hey, guys! I would like to start this thread about our HU's screws and their types. Sharing the info about them, where you've got them (be it in your tool box or someone else's - jk), etc. Be it with uploaded pix or just the specs of them; so as to help others ESPECIALLY me! I bought an X930BT without them puck-ing screws (at least the seller did not have it or might have sold it for extra 3-5 dollars). I have tried some of my automotive metal screws of 1cm long, but it's not grabbing my 05 Xterra stock stereo (RF audio system) bracket against the HU's body well enough. I am thinking o
  11. To Whom It May Concern: Please do so, whatever is best for this post to find its spot in the forum. Or warrant this, admins as to double post or deleted, et cetera. I tried to find them first here because this is my "go-to" with regards to Pioneer AVICs and whatnots, but was not able to find them (at least on my poor searching skills ) Anyhoo, for those who are seeking these manuals for their own HU; no need to leave the forum page. I saw that we are limited to just 10MB of file size, so I just copied the url from pioneer site. To see and download them point mouse arrow and just click
  12. Hi, fellas! I am noob to this forum since I've never had this ICE nor have had a Pioneer deck in my cars. That being said: I will have my x930 soon and I can't wait to do what's been talked about here. I am already all over my mind on how to do a video bypass; as soon as I get my hands on the x930. I've tried and done a vid-bp using a PAC module (on my Alpine) it was not a success. Anyhoo, that's not important because we're all about Pioneer here, right? I commend and bow to all of you brainiacs out there:D Cheers!
