  1. Ah...it didn't say that this morning, they must have changed it. Thats not a bad price I guess. I paid 100 less for all that, plus the iPod adapter from Crutchfield last May though.
  2. I haven't posted here in quite a while, so I don't know if this has been posted yet. On my way to work and figured you guys might be interested. 6th Ave is listed on Pioneer's website as an authorized retailer, but I've heard of people having trouble with the rebate from an online purchase. Unit - http://www.6ave.com/shop/Product.aspx?sku=PIOAVICD3 And I'm sure this is around, but rebate... http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... -In+Rebate

Thats how mine is set up and I've been using it for a while. It's definitely the easiest way I've found so far.
  4. I used one from a D2. It has tabs that fit tight enough around it that it doesn't fall off. Here are some pictures: http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic. ... c&start=15
  5. black plug or white plug? black is power so im guessing thats what youre talking about?
  6. 18?? Geez...at BB we used to charge 9.99 for the GM to regular 'motorola plug' adapters, but hat was a few years ago... Thats still steep tho.
  7. Parking Brake wire is the lt. green/red wire at the parking brake switch (just follow where your pedal goes to and you should see it). Just curious though, you're not bypassing it? If you are bypassing, just ground the parking brake wire coming off the AVIC, don't connect it to your vehicle.
  8. Doesn't sound right. I have a listing for the VSS in your truck as: Speed sense in the yellow/black wire at the ECM, black 73 pin plug, pin 57 The ECM (Engine Control Module) is on the driver side fender, behind the headlight.
  9. Purple/white in the car is VSS. They aren't talking about the one coming off the AVIC.
  10. didn't like the ones in the gallery? pages 19 and 22?
  11. Nice. I learn a new trick everyday here
  12. I'm with you on this on Misfit. I haven't contributed nearly as much as you have, but I'm trying to give as much input as I can. It seems like some people just cannot take a little criticism. God forbid I tell someone to search on how to do the D3 bypass, or tell them to look in their user's manual for an answer on something that is clearly outlined. Now I'm the asshole because I wouldn't just hand over the information that they could easily have found themselves. As for the other guy, the only other thing I can think of is that maybe hes a hermie and you let everyone know his secre
