  1. Bumping this because I'm wondering if those of us on ios 5.1.1 will ever get an update that works past v1.8.2?
  2. Mike, feel free to put my link wherever you'd like. I made it specifically for people running AppEx On a kind of related note; are there any plans to update AppEx for iOS 5.1.1?
  3. If you still have AppRadio 1.8.2 loaded in your iTunes library just delete the app from your phone and then reinstall using iTunes. If you no longer have v1.8.2 then you need to download the cracked version that I linked (not the other file linked in this thread) make sure you have AppSync installed from Cydia and then load the cracked .ipa into your iTunes library and install it, again, using iTunes just like normal. If you have any problems that you can't first figure out on your own, feel free to send me a private message here and I'll walk you through the steps.
  4. Since you've tried two different phones I assume what I'm gonna suggest isn't the problem... But, are they jailbroken with something like "No Accessory Splash" from Cydia installed? I had this problem when I first got my radio and it didn't hit me until a few hours later while trying different things.
  5. Use AppEx from Cydia with 1.8.2 The beta version of AppEx linked in the first post of this thread is to try and get unsupported apps working again with 2.0.0/2.0.1 I updated because Mike asked what problems people might be having with the beta AppEx, but I have since downgraded back to the Cydia version of AppEx and 1.8.2
  6. Harder than just reading the thread like the rest of us...
  7. I had lag with the old version of AppExt with the Pioneer update as well. I installed the AppExt beta today and still get lag, mostly when trying to move apps around. My unsupported apps icons show up in the radio but clicking any of them makes them run on the phone but they don't display on the radio. Like others, I've also lost the Siri button. I didn't think to check the battery/clock display but I'll update this post later when I get a chance to test it
  8. It seems Pioneer have pulled the AppRadio app completely from iTunes, so to make things easier for people who need to downgrade or for anyone who just needs a working AppRadio app, I'm going to link the cracked .ipa in here. https://dl.dropbox.c....8.2cracked.zip Edit: For this to work on your iPhone, it needs to be jailbroken with AppSync installed.
  9. I just looked and it's not available in the U.S. iTunes AppStore either. I had heard people were having problems with it crashing a lot or possibly freezing the phone/radio. The few minutes I had v2.0 on my phone it was running great (other than the compatability issues with appradio extensions)
  10. Go into Cydia and search for "AppSync for iOS 5.0+" and install that. If nothing comes up go into your Cydia sources and add "http://repo.hackyouriphone.org/" let that load up and then do the same search for AppSync again. After that is installed, the cracked .ipa file should work (it might make your original .ipa work also so test them both). I only suggest hackyouriphone.org because it's the source I used for AppSync so I know that that deb works.
  11. Not that I think it would affect anything but what version of iTunes are you running? And for the case of the cracked .ipa, do you have Appsync installed? You might try rebooting the phone and your computer and try again. I'm absolutely puzzled by this problem, because I had updated the app on my phone but then did exactly what you're trying to do so I could get back to v1.8.2
  12. That is really strange, it should sync back to your phone just like normal? Edit: Both links will now download as a zip file to make it easier for everyone. The highlighted is your problem, the link is pointed directly at the .ipa file itself, no need to save it as a zip and extract it. If you have no option to save it as is, here it is in a zip file if you want to try it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wcn78oynqmtr2xq/AppRadio-v1.8.2cracked.zip?dl=0 Edit: I'm a little concerned that even a cracked .ipa might not install for you if iTunes is giving you problem
  13. Have you removed the updated 2.0 from your phone before you try to install your original 1.8.2? Edit: If you still have your original 1.8.2.ipa you don't need a cracked version. You just need to figure out why iTunes is saying it can't be installed.
