  1. No there's a good idea!
  2. ah, that makes sense. I'm fairly certain that they will come out with a smaller unit in the near future. The video says that they expect this to be in a LOT of cars within the next ten years. As everything else, the price will have to come down. I'd still consider buying it, though. Even today.
  3. I only get it when I am in video viewing mode when the d3 starts up. Do most get it when the nav starts up no matter the mode?
  4. any chance there's a way to get rid of that annoying red screen that says it's not permissable to drive while video is in the view of the driver?
  5. I'll have to go back and find it... it was a difficult find before. In the mean time, here's a Youtube about the other unit, mentioning the price of $10/month:
  6. ENJOY... You're gonna love it. It beats taking out the Nav DVD just to play a video. (assuming you have the bypass going) Solves the single disc issue very nicely.
  7. Are you kidding me? Did you even look? It's like a damn trash can lid! Read my post again. I was referring to the DishTV model. The one you are looking at is the MSNtv model.
  8. I have a 5th generation iPod video and it works great.
  9. I'm unaware that Apple made a 5 or 6 gig "video" iPod. The original video ipods were 30 and 60 gig...the smallest is the 4 Gig iPhone. (now discontinued)
  10. Monthly service is like $49.95 or something like that. I know you can get Direct TV for $10/month if you already have it at home. There's no frisbe on the roof, either. It's a window or roof mount antenna similar to the old 80's cellular one.
  11. If you're really itching for the ultimate tv tuner, check out this link I found today: http://www.kvh.com/products/Product.asp?id=125 VERY cool, and it has an option for mobile internet.
  12. Just in case this question was for me, I'm with T-mobile
  13. I use a Motorola RAZR, and I get perfect sound quality on the BTB200.
  14. omg.. this thread was a good laugh. Flipping throught he photos... if one ignores the text, it looks like a FARK photoshop contest. VERY fun.
  15. I agree. I've not had a single major issue with anything on the navigation. Just spend some time with the system and make sure that it's set to "shortest route" etc... it's fine. Just make sure you leave the disks in.
