  1. When you say "Press on Pioneer BT unit and hold your finger," do you mean pressing your finger on the phone or pressing it on the Pioneer head unit?
  2. I have the D3 using a Moto Atrix 4G smartphone. Phone calls are properly routed to the BT Phone on the D3. All other audio is routed to the BT Audio button. Herein lies the problems - I am using the phone for my navigation. If bluetooth is sync'd, I can only get the audio using the BT Audio on the D3. That means no music unless it's coming from the phone. What I prefer would be to listen to the radio (XM, FM, whatever), and then have the audio nav prompts come through just like the phone will if I receive a call. Otherwise, I have to disable BT audio and let it come through the phone's speaker
  3. How does one turn off the voice dial on the Pearl?
  4. I am told it is a known problem with the Pearl that it will not properly synch with the voice dialing on the AVIC. I am curious if anyone has a solution. At the moment, if I want to use the voice dialing function, I disable the BT and either use the phone without or use a BT headset. Sort of defeats the purpose. MSK
  5. That gets me in, but there are still the buttons you need to press while listening to messages -- press 1 to save, 2 to delete, 3 to hear again, etc.
  6. New D3 owner with several usage questions: 1) I have the D3 installed with the bluetooth module. I thought it was possible to look up a POI and then to have the phone dial it. I have no problem finding a particular POI. The number is not displayed unless you hit the POI as a destination, in which event it shows the destination and shows the name, number and address of the POI on the map screen. I then have to write down the number so I can switch to BT to dial the phone manually. How do I make the phone dial that number automatically from the POI listing? 2) How do I see both the stree
  7. That's certainly the backup plan, but the idea of the bluetooth handsfree is to be able to leave the phone in your pocket and not have it ricocheting around the car as you drive. I could just as easily have installed a wired handsfree unit to do the same thing.
  8. I just had this unit installed and one problem I am having is how to enter numbers after my call is connected. For instance, after I connect to my voicemail account, I have to enter various numeric entries to access messages, etc. Anyone know how this can be done? Thanks.
