  1. Hey guys, My fiancées father had a D1 laying around for a couple of years, so I installed it on her 2004 CRV. Everything works, except I'm having an issue with the navigation map. When I start the car, it knows my current location, but when I drive the arrow does not track on the street I'm driving on. It just stays at my original location, and when I turn the arrow will just turn on the same spot. Any clues what might be the issue? Thanks!
  2. I've got stock wheels on. yah, the faster I go, the more off it gets. Too bad there doesnt seem to be any compensation for this. What does adjusting the average speeds do exactly?
  3. I've got my VSS hooked up. And the D3 works great. Only thing that bugs me is that the speed shown on the Vehicle Dynamics is 2 or 3 miles slower than what my car's speedo reads... Is there any way to correct this? Also, the map is not as accurate as I'd like it to be. When I fully cross an intersection. The Arrow on the map shows that I'm just entering it. Anyone else's system is like this? Thanks!
  4. I noticed that there's a button that says shuffle all... anytime you hit that button, it'll play all songs on your ipod in shuffle mode. Is there any way to scroll through artists / song titles faster? takes forever to keep on pressing the arrow down or up. Holding it down is even slower. I think they should implement a software update so that you can search alphabetically. Like a separate menu with all the letters on the screen so when you hit "C", it'll list all Artists or whatever starting with C.
  5. Is there anyway to control Videos on the 5.5 gens through the D3?
  6. lol, you guys make me laugh. The 80gb refurbished is back. White only. I wanted black
  7. Can you make an Acura one for my D3? thanks
  8. Does this work for new subscriptions? Do I just tell the rep I have a promotional code and give them ZWINBACK and it should work? Thanks.
  9. Do you have a touch screen or not? If you don't, then the MT disks won't work. The CNDV-21 is to upgrade your Avic-90 to work with touchscreen panels. so the CNDV-21 is useless to you if you don't have a touchscreen
  10. I think that you do need the CNDV-21 as a pre-req. If you didn't then I don't see why would Pioneer sell it? As a gimmick to make money? I doubt it. It's only required for the avic9 and 90. the avic-80 and 88 came out onto the market for touch panel displays... so I'm sure they had preloaded touchscreen software that the 9 and 90's didnt have.
  11. I'm pretty sure the D1 came with the 50MT discs. They work on my avic-88dvd... so I think you have to use the CNDV-21 to upgrade the software to touch panel capability then after use the discs you have for the D1.
  12. I have the CNDV-50MT that works on my avic-88dvd. I'm not sure if it will work on the avic-9dvd's though. Because on the pioneer website they reccommend the cndv-21 for the avic9 and avic90. they don't mention the cndv-50mt. http://www.pioneerelectronics.ca/pna/ar ... 69,00.html
  13. Hi guys, I was wondering if the AVIC-88DVD is always running? For example if you turn on your head unit and play music or dvd's and not using the navi option is the avic-88dvd running still? If it does, wouldn't that wear out your avic-88dvd unit? Majority of the time I won't use the navi... so if that's the case I'll make a switch to turn it on/off. Thanks!
