  1. RonS, It's working now, after I unzipped the files again, and reformatted the SD card again, now the unit it's updating as we speak!!! should be done within 30 minutes!!! Thank you Sir!!!
  2. RonS, I'm using a 4GB SD card, correctly formatted using FAT32 with default cluster size, I'm running PC and unzipped the downloaded which leaves me with files name Pioneer_T1000-25818. I did have to enter password to extract the zip file downloaded from zip supplied by nezfotnemom, which is a US/CAN map I believe and the Cardinfo should cover X9310BT. I'm going to unzip the entire file again just to make sure, and give it a try. When I insert the SD card after the installing the short version of the shortfuse hack, the system did not ask me for any password, instead it just says " Wrong SD, i
  3. RonS, I've tried the shortfuse easy version on my X9310BT running V6.0, the installation went smooth without issue. I put the map update on a separate SD card which contained the 3 files Update, Firmware and Cardinfo, cif that came with the download, when I insert the map update SD, it says wrong SD card. I managed to use testmode to kick the unit out of update mode. I don't believe I have the right Cardinfo.cif, and now I'm stuck as the Cardinfo.cif I've used came as part of the download zip, any ideas please.
  4. RonS, thank you very much. I will try out the ShortFuse hack and see if I can get my unit to update, I'm currently running V6.0 on my X9310BT
  5. RonS, I actually have a X9310BT and through the 2016 upgrade I updated the unit to X940BT. I've followed the instructions after reading the forum, and at first I did not play with the files at all, all I did was placed the 3 files onto the root of a 4GB SD card, but the machine will not go into update mode. I'm not that savvy when it comes to the Testmode so I didn't try the hack. I guess I will have to wait....
  6. Tried a different CARDINFO.cif file from my 2015 update, and it does take me to update but asking for a password which I don't have, any help will be much appreciated.
  7. I'm trying to update my X940BT, after downloading the update I simply unzip all the files and place them into the root of the SD card, which was formatted to FAT32, the SD card had these 3 files Firmware, Update and CARDINFO.cif. The unit will not initiate the update!!! any thoughts??
  8. I can confirm this worked for my X9310BT, now the unit runs on firmware 6.0!!! I would like to once again thank you all for the contribution having waited 2 years to finally update the unit. A donation will be made!!!
  9. I would like to thank you for uploading the maps, I was able to upgrade my Subaru X9310BT following your instructions without any issue.
  10. If you download and read the update owner's manual from navigation.com. It tells you the model that's been updated which includes X9310BT, and what's been updated.
  11. That's what I don't agree with, as a consumer purchsing a brand new product from Pioneer, they should offer the newest update of the map. I do understand the product might have been sitting there for awhile, and what Pioneer should really do it's to offer the customer a one time free update to the newest map with a coupon or something like that. Now having to spend $600 or more on a unit, on top of that another $120 for the update just doesn't seem right to me.
  12. my question is, if I purchase the new update 2013 map directly from Navteq, would I be able to update the map since I've changed it to a different firmware??? I'm running X940BT 4.0 firmware instead of the original 3.01
  13. Anyone can provide with the 2013 US/Canada map update for the X930BT!!!!
