  1. I live in the Philadelphia area if anyone else has this problem around here. I have noticed that the reception has gotten worse since I first got XM. It started some time in early June when I lost XM altogether and XM said they were having problems with their east coast satellite. It came back the next day but ever since it seems that it is really bad on some days and on others it is ok but worse then it was before the outage. This continues to get worse so I don't know if it is my antenna or if it is XM in this area.
  2. Oh and both antennas are on the roof about 8 inch's apart. And for anyone who wants to know why I have both, I use XM NavTraffic and XM Traffic/Weather channels are much better, but Sirius has 10 times better Rock channels. I am hoping that the merge they announced early this year goes through.
  3. Does anyone else have both XM and Sirius. I am trying to find out if Sirius signal is really much better then XM or if I just need a new XM antenna or something. There are several roads that I travel daily that have tall trees that block the signal with XM but not with Sirius. At this point I have stopped listening to XM because I loose the signal so much. I can think of 20 different spots that I loose XM but only 1 that I loose Sirius along the same route. Anyone have any ideas?
  4. I have searched all over this site for a definite answer to bypassing the D1 but cant find anything but D3 and half answers for the D2. I know I have to ground the parking brake wire which I did. As for the mute wire, I'm not sure what to do with if anything. With just the parking brake grounded, it seems to work so far but I get a caution message every time I turn it on saying that the parking lead is not properly connected. Any help would be great. Thanx
