Hey i just got off of the phone with Corina also cowensadence I did not ask to speak to her. The total price was $65 shipped. I did not have to pay tax. Corina asked me to let everyone know that anybody can help with the order. She also told me that she was givin the impression that introductory price of $60 was because these units were so buggy. Is there any special way we should ask for it since people are reporting being told that it's not available yet?? i.e. any special code? Did she say when it would ship out?

I WISH PEOPLE WOULD READ THE FREAKIN THREAD! CURRENT FIRMWARE USES IGO 8.0. NEW FIRMWARE USES IGO 8.3. 8.0 MAPS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH 8.3! My question is how will we know that the update has officially been released for sale and is available? Will Pioneer change their page to say that is now available or what? Also, where would we buy it from? Direct from Pioneer only, or will places like BestBuy have it? Where will we have to go to get the $70 introductory price? I know a lot is speculation until it is released, but maybe somebody has some answers? Jason?

How the heck do we get this? Why would Pioneer post it on the site and not make it available??? I would be interested in a group buy as well. Judging from the reports that Jason gave from the road show, this is going to be a very significant update and I'm hot to get it, so I may decide not to wait and just get it myself... Maybe Jason can give some insight as to how we can get it?

Does anybody know what numbers represent each type? i.e. does 0 represent "cell", 1 represent "work", 2 represent "home", etc?

Does anybody have a Nextel phone that transferred the phonebook without any issues at all?
