if you have not already started on the install - call these guys 770.429.1600 http://www.sound-sensations.com/ sound sensations (in Marietta GA) - they did my 2001 E55 with a killer setup for the avic z1 - i can send pics - ask for Mark Vickers and tell him Derek sent you and he will hook you up - been using these guys for years for anything in the car - they are on the cutting edge and you have seeen many of thier designs and custom stereo stuff in Hip hop Videos.

i just got mine installed and the flashing of the lights does not work - does anyone live here in the LA area that i can pay to have this done? (2001 mercedes e55)

every time i try to send the contacts (or start to which i do not know how to do through my phone) the phone gets disconnected from the bluetooth via the avic z1 - can anyone give me a walk through on this?

1397 - plus they wil try and sell you a 3 year warranty for 400.00 - bring them down to 150 and i tis worth it (i did) - this is the lowest price (from a credible place) on the net and i got the ipod adapter and xm nav traffic - all for 1850 - shipped (that includes a ridiculously prices 165.00 insurance and 65 shipping. - not bad - all in all this is probably the lowest price out there right now.

i do not have a double din opening and i know there will have to be some custom work - does anyuone have any idea where i can get the command opening (doubledin) peice of wood that comes wtih the nav optioned w210 series e class? - i have been looking on ebay and at parts shops. - also could anyone recommend a place in LA (i live in southbay (hermosa beach)) - for installation? (the pic of what i think i need is attached)
