keeper22
I have been experimenting on making changes to the Data.zip on another thread and I think I have got it to a point to share with the masses. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, I am not responsible for any damage to your equipment. Learn how to mod you unit from other threads in this forum before attempting these changes. This Data zip changes the following... *Quick Launch Nav Menu while not Navigating. *Moved/Cleaned Up Blue Boxes while navigating *Stop Nav Button (see below to convert compass to stop nav button) *Mute Nav Button *Linear Compass (new style) *Small tweaks throughout for looks *Vehicle Arrow is my truck (see link below to change) This data.zip keeps a stock look from the Pioneer unit but makes the design more consistent. The only mod I can claim for myself is the quick launch... Thanks to Stephanie for posting so much info showing how the files work brink094 for mute button mode bitman for stop nav skicrave for replacing the arrow BorisM for helping with code questions and I am sure others that contribute so much to making these units more usable. Change Truck/Arrow Link To make the compass the stop nav button in my data zip you need to change the following line in navigatemap_800_480.ui ;Stop Nav Button with this ;Stop Nav Button I have tried the quick links with 5 icons and ten but I don't use them all enough to warrent ten icons on there at a time so I included all the files you need to go either way. It is a matter of changing the code a bit. Change this ;quick menu with this ;quick menu and not as long as you get the x and y positions right you can move the icons and use any combination of icons you want. and here is the ZIP

BorisM
Here's something form one of the more advanced iGO skins... You have a button, with the ones you want to hide: Pressing this button hides the layer (in your case it would be the shortcut layer, including the button itself) and displays the button below: Pressing this button hides itself anв displays layer with shortcut buttons. Just adjust layers/buttons/bitmaps to fit your changes and it should be fine.

You will have to make the changes above to make it 5 buttons and the truck is only there for 3d Map
