  1. Hello, Anyone try or think about porting android to our systems ? It'll be a game changer -speed will be snappy, more things allowed , so on and so forth?
  2. I performed an update and failed to remove the card before closing the display. I cant get to normal boot because the system keeps booting to the firmware update program and I cant find a way out and can't eject the card to stop it. HELP!
  3. I recently purchased a map update from Naviteq. Actually, Naviteq has re-branded itself to HERE maps. Here is my conundrum: When I insert the SD card that contains the update, the AVIC-Z140BH prompts me for my Pioneer Password, which is needed before installation can continue. I tried my Bluetooth password: it did not work. I tried my AVIC-Z140BH security password: it did not work. I have talked to the licensed installer that I bought the system from; they had no clue. I have talked to HERE maps; they sent me to the site www.pioneernavigationupdate.com The model AVIC Z140BH
  4. I have a Nissan 2003 350Z with Avic-Z140BH installed where the stock radio was. I wish to insert a second screen in the upper cubby right above the radio and want to know if there is a HACK that will allow the Navigation screen of the Avic to be displayed on the second screen. The second screen has a composite input. Can this be done. Thanks.
  5. Hi all ! New member here, I just finished my install of the new AVIC-Z140BH in my 2009 Silverado. At the beginning of the week I had installed an Alpine INA-W910, not at all liking the features, I swapped it out for the AVIC with a ND-BC5 backup camera. I installed the camera in a OEM tailgate handle bezel (part # 22755304, the old GM number was 25958228). I will try to post pics and answer any questions.
